IIT Kharagpur offers a Joint M.Tech-PhD or MCP-PhD programme with 42 specialisations at the PG level, requiring a valid GATE exam score for admission. To apply for the Joint MTech/ MCP-PhD programmes, candidates are required to go through the online GATE application process via its official website (https://gateoffice.iitkgp.ac.in/jmp/).
