How to Book SRMJEEE 2026 Exam Slot: SRMJEEE slot booking is the process by which registered candidates can select their preferred exam date and time (shift) to appear in the exam. The phase 1 SRMJEEE 2026 will be conducted from April 24 to 29 in two shifts.
The SRMJEE slot booking for the phase 1 exam will start on April 18. The slot booking facility will be available online in the official website srmist.edu.in. Once the SRMJEEE slot booking opens, students have to login to the candidate portal and book exam slot for the remote proctored online exam. There is no fees for SRMJEEE slot booking.

What Details Are Required for Booking Exam Slot
To book exam slot, candidates will only need the their SRMJEEE 2026 Application number and password to access candidate login. Knowledge of exact exam schedule with date and time is a must. After candidates login to the portal, they just have to chose their exam date and time and submit their choice.
System Requirements for Slot Booking
There are no specific requirement for laptop/computer except a working internet connection. However, candidates would need to fulfill certain conditions for the laptop/computer when they appear in the exam.

What After SRMJEEE Slot Booking
Soon after the candidate completes slot booking, hall ticket will be issued to the candidate. The hall ticket will have details about the selected exam date and shift on which the candidate has to appear in the exam. Candidates must make themselves available to take the test on the selected exam date and time.
Can I Change Exam Date and Shift After Slot Booking
Candidates are not allowed to change exam date and shift after slot booking. It is thus advised that candidates exercise slot book carefully after analyzing all possible conditions. As the exam is scheduled on multiple dates and shifts, candidates have 10 slots to chose from for appearing in the SRMJEEE 2026 exam.
Is Slot Booking Mandatory to Appear in SRMJEEE?
Booking an exam slot is not mandatory as candidates who do not exercise slot booking are allotted the leftover slots that remain vacant. However, it is advised that every candidate who have filled the application form of SRMJEEE 2026 must book their preferred exam slot to take the test.

The SRMJEEE 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted in three phases. Candidates have to book exam slot separately for all phases. Currently, the slot booking schedule is available only for the phase 1 exam. Slot booking for phase 2 and 3 exams will open around a week before the exam starts.
