IIT Madras GATE Cutoff 2026

The cutoff scores for IIT Madras are divided into two categories:

  • HTTA (Half-Time Teaching Assistantship): Financial assistance programs with generally higher GATE cutoff.

  • Non-HTTA: Regular admission without HTTA assistantship, with slightly low cutoff

The IIT Madras MTech cutoff is available for different categories, including  Non-PwD candidates across General, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, and ST categories, along with PwD reserved cut-offs for each.

The highest GATE cutoff score for NIT M.Tech admission typically ranges from 800 to 850 in the first round. Some of the top NITs include NIT Surathkal, NIT Trichy, and NIT Warangal, accept admissions with GATE score 800 above for branches like EC, CS, ME, and EE.
