The first step in the KEAM counselling process is option registration. CEE has released the KEAM 2025 option registration dates. KEAM 2025 counselling option registration is open at cee.kerala.gov.in and will be open till July 16. KEAM 2025 counselling option registration link and all details are available on this page now.

KEAM Option Registration 2025: CEE has released the dates for KEAM phase 3 counselling. In this round, fresh option registration has been invited, and candidates will be able to complete the KEAM option registration 2025 by August 7.

The KEAM option registration facility allows the candidates participating in KEAM 2025 counselling to provide their choices of colleges and courses in order of their priority. Seats in KEAM counselling participating colleges will be filled based on the options registered by the candidates and their KEAM 2025 ranks.

To register options in KEAM 2025 counselling, candidates have to log in to their ‘Candidate Portal’ through the website cee.kerala.gov.in using the application number and password. Candidates who do not register their options within the stipulated time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances.

CEE has released the KEAM 2026 application form. Candidates can apply for the KEAM exam on the official website cee.kerala.gov.in.

Q:   What are the reasons that can lead to cancellation of KEAM application form?
A: 
The followings are some of the reasons that may lead to the rejection of your KEAM Application. If the uploaded Photograph does not adhere to the specification given in the menu How to Upload? If Applicants uploaded Signature is NOT clear or/and not genuine. If authentic proof for Nativity and Date of Birth and Class X Certificate are NOT uploaded in the application portal. If the required Application Fee meant for each category (General or SC) is NOT paid through the proper channel.
Q:   When will the KEAM application form correction window open?
A: 

Yes, the KEAM application form correction window opens for the registered candidates only. The registered candidates can access the KEAM login and verify the details and correct the details like name, signature, photo, Nativity status, reservation status, etc. 

Currently, the KEAM form correction window is open for cerification and correction of name, photo and class 10 certificate, until March 21.

The KEAM login for application form correction opens in phases. The candidates have to keep track of the dates to be able to correct the details in the KEAM application form. CEE notifies the details of the application form correction on the official website. The candidates need to access the login and make corrections online only. There is no other way to correct the details in the submitted KEAM  application form. The details needed to access KEAM login for application form correction are:

  1. Application number
  2. Password
  3. Access code (as shown on the screen)

What is KEAM Option Registration?

The option registration in the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical) counselling means that candidates select their preferred course and college for admission. The candidates have to register the options in order of priority and submit them as per the schedule. Only the candidates who appear in the KEAM rank list can register their option for KEAM counselling.

Q:   What is to be done in KEAM option registration process?
A: 

A list of Course-College combinations available for allotments through the KEAM CAP will be displayed on the Option Registration page of the candidate based on the stream (s) the candidate is eligible for. For example, a candidate included only in the Engineering stream will see the Engineering courses together with the corresponding two-letter codes (Eg:- AE - Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, EC - Electronics and Communication Engineering etc.). Similarly, a candidate in the Medical Stream will see the Medical courses together with the corresponding two-letter codes (Eg:- MM-MBBS, MD-BDS, BA-BAMS etc.). A candidate eligible for both Engineering and Medical streams will see both Engineering and Medical courses. All the Colleges under the stream (s) applicable to the candidate will be shown with their respective three-letter codes (Eg:- TVE-College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, TVM-Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram etc.). 

Q:   I am not able to upload the images (Photo and signature) in KEAM application form. What may be the reason?
A: 

Photo, Signature, and other images to be uploaded in KEAM application form should have the specified dimensions and size. The specifications are as follows:

KEAM 2025 Option Registration Fee

The candidates participating in KEAM counselling have to pay the option registration fee. The KEAM 2025 option registration fee is given below:

  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC category and those having benefits as per G.O.(Ms) No.25/2005/SCSTDD Dated 20.06.2005 and G.O. (Ms)No.10/2014/BCDD Dated 23.05.2014, and those candidates from Juvenile Home, Nirbhaya Home, Sree Chitra Home: INR 500, (The option registration fee of such candidates who take admission in the allotted college/course will be adjusted in the caution deposit.)
  • For all other candidates: INR 2,000. (The registration fee will be adjusted in the tuition fee of those candidates who take admission consequent on allotments.)

Refund of the KEAM 2025 Option Registration Fee

  • The registration fee of those candidates who do not get allotment will be refunded.
  • The Registration Fee of those candidates who do not take admission will be treated as a penalty and will not be refunded.

How to Register Options in KEAM 2025 Counselling?

  • Vist the official website of KEAM and access the ‘Candidate Portal’  using the Application Number and Password.
  • Proceed to the option registration page by clicking on the ‘Option Registration’ Link.
  • Pay the option registration fee and register the options.
  • Save the options registered.
  • View and print the list of options registered.
  • Log off from the ‘Candidate Portal’.
