The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has released the MHT CET 2026 syllabus PDF for all three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Maths. There are no changes in the MHT CET syllabus 2026 in any subject. The MHT CET Chemistry syllabus PDF with list of topics is available on this page.

The MHT CET Chemistry syllabus 2026 is based on the Class 11 and Class 12 Maharashtra State Board curriculum. Around 80% questions come from Class 12 topics and the remaining from Class 11th. MHT CET 2026 Chemistry Syllabus

The MHT CET Chemistry paper is based on the Maharashtra State Board syllabus of Class 11 and Class 12. Around 20% questions come from Class 11 topics, while 80% are from Class 12. This pattern has remained consistent over the years. There is no negative marking in MHT CET. In the Maharashtra CET exam, Physics and Chemistry question is of 1 marks. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions or incorrection answers. 

Q:   What is the MHT CET exam pattern 2026?
A: 

As per the MHT CET 2026 exam pattern, the test will be conducted in online mode (CBT) having only MCQs. The exam consists of three papers (PCM/PCB) with 90 minutes each, totalling 100 marks per paper. There is no negative marking. Mathematics questions are worth 2 marks each, while Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are worth 1 mark each.
