Why is it important to have a VITEEE Backup Strategy?

Unlike JEE Main, that releases raw percentages, candidate’s qualifying stats and response sheets, VITEEE, on the other hand has a complete different evaluation process. Also, the VIT category-wise fee structure plays another major role in seat allocation. In short, getting into VIT is highly competitive and completely depends on the rank obtained in VITEEE result. Hence, a lower rank in VITEEE can go to category 5 of VIT admission with a total four-year expenditure cost more than 25 lakhs per year (excluding hostel fees). In such cases, having a back-up plan is a smart move.

The rank needed for admission at VIT Bhopal would depend on the category and chosen branch.

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 50000 to 100000. Hence, the highest rank acceptable was 100000. Please know that other categories, rounds, etc., will have different cutoffs.
