JEE 2021 is the only national level entrance test for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and other state government institutes. The first session of NTA JEE 2021 is scheduled to be held from February 23 to 26.
Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE 2021 will be held four times by the NTA starting from February, March, April and in May. The entrance test comprises of two papers. Paper 1 is for BE/BTech students while Paper 2A is for BArch and Paper 2B is for BPlan. Through JEE 2021, candidates will be offered admission to NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), institutions/universities funded/recognized by state government institutions, as well as an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to IITs. Joint Admission Board (JAB) will allow candidates, who missed JEE Advanced 2020 for being COVID-19 positive, to reappear in 2021.

NTA JEE Registration 2021
The application form of JEE Main 2021 has been released online for Paper 1 (BTech) Paper 2A (Barch and Paper 2B (BPlan). Eligible candidates can fill the application forms and submit the same by January 16. Application fee payment can be done until January 17. The application process involves registration, filling the application form, uploading the images, payment of fees, preview and submission of the applications.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates need to register online on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. To complete the JEE 2020 registration process, aspirants will have to enter a valid email Id and phone number.
Step 3: Uploading scanned images
After filling the application form, candidates have to upload their scanned images of recent passport-sized photograph and signature. All the scanned images must be in JPG/JPEG format only.
Step 4: Payment of application fee
Post completion of the application form, candidates have to pay their application fees as per their category and nationality. The application fee must be paid in online mode only.
Step 5: Taking printout of the confirmation page
The last step is to download and take printouts of the confirmation page of JEE Main 2021. Candidates must take several printouts of the confirmation page as it will be required at various stages of the admission process.

NTA JEE 2021 Admit Card
NTA will release JEE Main 2021 admit card in online mode in the second week of February. JEE 2021 admit card will be issued to all the candidates who have registered successfully for the exam. The admit card is an important document which must be carried to the examination hall. Candidates who do not carry their admit card will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination. Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an identity proof.

JEE Answer Key 2021
The provisional answer keys of NTA JEE will be released a few days after the exam. However, various coaching institutes will release answer keys of the after few hours of the test. Candidates can match their answers and calculate their probable scores. Candidates can download JEE 2021 answer keys in pdf format by entering their login credentials. Through JEE Main answer key candidates can match their correct and incorrect responses and calculate their probable scores to be secured in the examination.
NTA JEE 2021 Result
The result of JEE Main will be released by the NTA on its official website. JEE result is based on the final answer keys released by the NTA. Evaluation of multiple-choice questions of BTech, BArch and BPlan paper will be carried out using final JEE Main answer keys and the actual marks obtained by candidates will be considered while preparing the JEE 2021 result. For multi-shift papers, raw marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA 2021 scores. The All India Rank (AIR) shall be compiled and declared after conduct of the JEE Main May 2021 examination.
JEE 2021 Cutoff
The cutoff scores of NTA JEE 2021 are of two types – qualifying cutoff marks and admission cutoff marks. The NTA will release the qualifying JEE cutoff marks for all the three papers. JoSAA will release the admission cutoff (opening and closing ranks) marks after the declaration of the result. The factors that determine JEE 2021 cutoff are:

NTA JEE 2021 Counselling
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling process of JEE Main 2021. The counselling will be held in online mode only for seven round including two mock seat allotments. Through JEE Main 2021, candidates will get admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, SFIs, State Engineering Colleges in the Participating States and other participating Institutes including UPSEE.

Candidates wing to the COVID-19 situation in India, candidates will also be allowed to carry masks and sanitizers inside the exam centre.
