Every aspirant needs to give every competitive exam with complete focus and dedication and with the sole aim to crack the exam.
The moment we finish the exam, we all feel relieved. What do you need to do after that, over the next few days? is the question that comes in everyone’s mind. Here, we will discuss the tips to answer these questions.
Immediately after the exam
When I gave BITSAT, the first thing I did after reaching home was to relax with some good music and food. You might not have to do the same as I did, the point I am making here is to relax and stay away from the temptation of analysing the exam. There would be a lot of questions in your head like what was the answer to that question? Was it right? What if it was wrong and so on, the list is long. It is natural for any student to think like that, I do it too and honestly, this is not good for the mental health of an individual. Hence, avoid stressing about the exam, instead, think about the plan to follow for the upcoming ones.

Over the next few days
Once the BITSAT was over, I started preparing for the other competitive exams. Also, after completing the exam, you would get the score, which could give an idea of whether you will get admission in BITS or not. I checked for previous year cut-offs and based on that I made my assessment. I did not over analyse my exam, like in which section I did well or in which I did not. Instead, I focused on my preparation for the upcoming exams and started revising the key concepts.
Also, I started preparing a list for the colleges I could apply.
In my opinion, students should explore more options until they get admission. I was realistic in my approach and prepared a list of colleges after evaluating them based on their reputation, placements, cut-off score, etc. You could also follow a similar approach. Having a back-up plan is always good. I would suggest, also check with your friends and well-wishers about other good colleges available that you could apply in so that good opportunities are not missed. Refer to the list of colleges and prepare for the next exams accordingly.
Give every exam with complete focus and dedication and with the sole aim to crack the exam. Hence, focus on all the colleges equally so that maximum options are available for admission.
