According to exam pattern of VITEEE exam, for each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded, and for an incorrect answer, -1 mark will be deducted. Hence, one can conclude here that accuracy is more important than number of attempts. One wrong guess, and it can pull your VITEEE score down. This revised change in VITEEE BTech entrance exam now makes it more aligned with other top entrance exams, such as JEE Mains. 

Ideal Number of Questions to Attempt in VITEEE 2026
