How many questions to attempt in VITEEE 2027

There are no sectional limits in VITEEE, as well as no ideal number of attempts. Thus, it is better to answer those questions with which you are confident. Start taking mock test early (in your VIT exam preparation).

  • Plan a subject-wise mock test or sample paper
  • Divide your time equally. For example, if you are dedicating 8 hours to study, then divide 3 hours for numericals, 3 hours for theory, and two hours for revision/VITEEE PYQs practice.
  • Ensure that your VITEEE 2027 preparation and attempt strategy vary with section.

Sections

Types of question and difficulty level

Smart Strategy you can implement

Physics and Mathematics

Questions are mostly concept-based and more formula-oriented

Only attempt if you are sure of the basics and formula.

Do not spend too much time on one question. Skip lengthy and time-confusing numeric questions.

Chemistry

Mostly direct questions

Dedicate 30 to 40 minutes to complete chemistry section. Focus on NCERT problems. Memory-based questions are safer than conceptual guesses.

The percentage of your tuition fee refunded depends entirely on when you submit the withdrawal request.  The final dates or full and partial tuition fee refund are inclined to the official commencement of the classes, which usually starts in July.

The advance fee payment in VITEEE is a partial amount that must be paid after seat allotment to confirm your admission. On the other hand, the balance fee is the remaining tuition fee for that academic year that finalises your enrolment.
