WBJEE 2019 exam will be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) on April 22. The exam counselling will begin soon after the WBJEE results are declared in the month of June, 2019.
Candidates who qualify the WBJEE 2019 exam, will have to appear for the exam counselling for admission to BTech programmes offered by colleges in West Bengal. Eligible candidates will be able to register online for the WBJEE counselling process 2019 through a single interface. The online registration for exam counselling is allowed only in the first round. Please note that there will be no fresh registration for a second and third round of counselling.

WBJEE Counselling Process 2019
Candidates seeking admission to all the government and private college in the state of West Bengal need to appear for the WBJEE exam and counselling process. This process is to secure seats in their choice of course and college. Follow the steps enlisted below in order to successfully take part in the WBJEE counselling process 2019.
Step 1: Online Registrations for the WBJEE Counselling Process 2019
The initial step when willing to take part in the WBJEE 2019 counselling is to register yourself on the official website of WBJEEB which is the conducting authority of WBJEE exam.
Step 2: Registration Fee Payment
After successfully registering on the official website, the candidates will then be asked to make the payment of the prescribed registration fee in order to complete the registration process for appearing in WBJEE 2019 Counselling. The candidates will be provided with various modes of fee payment and they have to make a choice of the payment mode as per their preferences.
Step 3: Appear for the WBJEE 2019 Counselling and Seat Allotment Process
At this stage, the candidates will be asked to attend the counselling process along with their documents which include the following:
Documents required for verification (original along with a set of attested photocopies)
- WBJEE Admit Card
- Print out of WBJEE 2019/JEE Main 2019 rank from the website
- Higher Secondary/Class XII (or equivalent examination) Mark Sheet
- Madhyamik/Class X (or equivalent examination) Admit Card
- WBJEE 2019 Seat Allotment Letter
- Receipt of Online Counselling Registration Fee (E-challan receipt)
- Category Certificate if applicable
- Pwd Certificate if applicable
- Domicile Certificate if applicable
After the document verification process of successfully conducted, the candidates need to take part in WBJEE 2019 seat allocation process. Here, candidates will be asked to select the college/seat by clicking on its name on a monitor in the presence of the Nodal Officer for WBJEE admissions 2019. The seat allotment of WBJEE 2019 is based on the rank secured by the candidates in the written examination and the choice of college and branch filled by them.
After the counselling and seat allocation process is successfully conducted, the candidates will be asked to make the payment of the counselling fee at the reporting centres.

Note: The counselling fee for WBJEE 2019 is non-refundable.

Only appearing for WBJEE is not enough for B.Arch. As per Council of Architecture (CoA) rules, you must also have a valid score in NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 (Architecture) alongside your academic and state entrance qualifications.

Yes, but only in private colleges through management quota, based on Class 12 marks, without needing WBJEE. Colleges like IEM, Heritage, Techno India, and Adamas offer this option.
Always check that the college is AICTE-approved before taking direct admission, as unapproved seats can create problems
