Candidates can follow the below-given steps to participate in the counselling process. Only qualified candidates will be able to take part in the DTE Kerala 2025 Counselling process. Look at the following points;

• Candidates will get admission to all the participating institutions based on the rank list.
• Students need to select and enter their choice of seat allotment procedure after the declaration of results.
• Only qualified candidates can fill the choices in the online choice-filling portal and the link for this will be present on the official website.
• Students can fill in their choices of college, and branch according to their preference and lock them.
• Seat allotment will be based on preferences filled, availability of seats and category of candidates.
• Once the student gets the seat in the first round of the seat allotment process and he/she accepts it will have to cancel all the remaining choices filled during choice filling.
• However, students can also modify their choices before the second and third rounds of the seat allotment process.
• Seats that will remain vacant after all the rounds of counselling will be filled through a spot counselling round.
• The exam authorities will give admission to students in on spot round from the common merit list in the order of merit.

• Once a candidate is allotted a seat, he/she will have to join the particular institute and then only he/she will be considered for further allotments.
• In case, if he/she fails to do the same, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
• Once aspirants are allotted a seat, all the lower options will automatically be canceled and re-allotment will only be done for higher options.
• Aspirants who have been allotted the higher option in subsequent allotment need to get a TC issued from the previous institute.
• If aspirants are satisfied with the allotment they get in a particular allotment and if he/she does not want to be considered for further allotments, they will be required to cancel all the remaining options.
• Selection for admissions will be only done after the original documents are verified by the concerned Principals at the time of admission.
