A few more updates are given below:
- The JAC Delhi Counselling 2025 has concluded with the Special Spot Round process for admission to the BTech course.
- The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
- The UCEED 2026 registration portal is open for admission to the B.Des course. With the regular fee, the deadline to register is Oct 31, 2025. Further, the UCEED Exam 2026 will be conducted on Jan 18, 2026.
- The CUET UG 2026 registration window is expected to open in the first week of Mar 2026 for admission to UG courses.
- The GATE 2026 registrations are now over for admission to Ph.D. and ME/Mtech course. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

In the field of Management, DTU offers three year BBA via the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME). Divided into six semesters of six months each, admission to BBA programme offered by DTU is based on merit scores obtained by the students in the best of four subjects in Class 12. Students, however, must have completed their Class 12 with 50% aggregate (with English as a subject) to be eligible for the course.

No, DTU does not conduct any entrance exam of its own for admission to any of the UG, PG or doctoral-level courses. Admission for the flagship BTech programme is based on JEE Main scores and the entire process of counselling are conducted by JAC Delhi. Further, DTU admission to all the remaining courses is mostly based on national/ university-level entrance exams, such as UCEED, GATE, CAT, MAT and CMAT, among others. However, there are a few MBA specialised courses and BBA, admission to which is offered based on the past qualifying exam (UG level) followed by an interview round.
Delhi Technological University is quite affordable. The total tuition fee for the BTech is INR 3 Lacs - INR 6.4 lakh. At the PG level, the university offers M.Tech courses to students. The total tuition fee for the M.Tech is INR 1.2 Lacs - INR 3.3 lakh. This fee is exclusive of various charges such as transportation charges, and others. At DTU, they have 9 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel. Although each hostel has separate mess but after COVID period, only 3–4 hostel's mess are running.We are supposed to take monthly subscription of the mess. The mess charges are 2700 p.m. which is very decent. I don't think in this price we can get 4 meals in any other mess.
The quality of the food is pretty average, on some days it's decent (khaane layak rahta) but there are few days on which it's worse especially the lunch part, generally it is the worst meal of the day. The food is too spicy and the taste is also very bad.
