Common Law Admission Test 2026 ( CLAT )
CLAT Second Allotment List 2026 will be out on January 22, 2026. CLAT Consortium conducts the counselling process in several rounds, and the merit list for the second round will be published as round 1 of counselling is over. Check here CLAT 2026 second merit list, as well, as provisionally admitted candidates for the first round.
CLAT 2nd Merit List 2026
The Consortium of NLUs will release the merit list for CLAT 2026 Counselling Round 2 on January 22, 2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be able to participate in the second round of CLAT 2026 counselling. Other than them, candidates who applied for a seat upgrade in the first round can also secure a seat (if preferred) in the CLAT 2026 counselling round 2. Candidates shortlisted in second merit list of CLAT 2026 have to upload their documents and pay the admission fee to accept the allotted seats on or before the last date. Moreover, candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round for CLAT counselling, can pay the difference amount (if remaining) before the given timeline.

CLAT merit list 2026 is shared by the exam authority before and after each counselling round. Candidates who get selected for admission to NLUs in India can complete the admission formalities as per the instructions. If they choose to withdraw from the counselling process 2026, then they can select 'Exit' option available in their dashboard. Those who do not get a seat allotted in the ongoing rounds, can wait for the next round of CLAT 2026, in case there are vacant seats available.
Candidates must note that CLAT 2026 Objection Window is now closed. Candidates could raise objection on CLAT Answer Key on or before December 12 until 5 pm. Once the objections were received, the consortium published the CLAT Final Answer Key. Based on that, the CLAT Result will be announced.
The Consortium of NLUs conducts the CLAT Exam from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is held only in one slot. There are no shifts in CLAT Exam. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode.

CLAT 2023 Second Merit List for LLM Course
Apart from the CLATAdmit Card, candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre:
- Passport-sized photograph (same as the one uploaded with the application form)
- A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter ID)
- Transparent water bottle
The CLAT exam will be conducted in December 2026. The exam timing will be 2 pm to 4 pm. The consortium has not announced the CLAT Exam Dates yet.

CNLU Patna LLM cutoff 2026 is out, wherein the first round closing rank is 968 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Apart from the General category, the cutoff has been released only for the PWD category, for which the cutoff rank is 6270.

GNLU Gandhinagar LLM cutoff 2026 released has been released across different categories under the AI and HS quotas. For the students belonging to the OBC category, the CLAT first round closing rank for LLM admission is 1212 in the AI quota. GNLU offers multiple specialisations under its LLM course.
