CLAT Candidate Login 2026: How to create, register, and recover
CLAT Candidate Login 2026: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) announced the CLAT Answer Key Date. The candidates will be able to download the CLAT Answer Key PDF from the official website on December 10 at 5:00 pm. The candidates who appeared for the CLAT Exam, held on December 7, 2025, will be able to challenge the CLAT provisional answer key if they find any errors. To raise objections to the answer key, candidates have to log in to the portal using their CLAT 2026 Login ID and password. The CLAT 2026 objection window will be closed on December 12 at 5:00 pm. The CLAT Result will be released soon after that and will be published on the official website.

Candidates can use the same CLAT 2026 Login ID and Password to raise objections to the answer key that they used during the CLAT Application Process. CLAT login details are very important, as without them, the candidate will not be able to check the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) Result. CLAT Login 2026 is also important as it will help candidates get access to all the important updates released by the consortium. Apart from the CLATAdmit Card, candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre:
- Passport-sized photograph (same as the one uploaded with the application form)
- A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter ID)
- Transparent water bottle
CLAT exam day dos:
- Reach examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CLAT admit card.
- Carry two copies of the CLAT admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos
- PwD candidates should carry relevant certificates and documents.
- Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet
CLAT exam day don'ts:
- Do not carry items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices.
- Don't wear closed shoes, jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms. Socks are allowed inside it.
- Don't wear caps, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets
- Don't be late for exam. Entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam.

How to use CLAT Candidate Login 2026 to retrieve password?
In case, candidates forget the password required to login into their registered accounts, they can see the below-mentioned steps to recover the same:
- On the login window, click on the Forgot Password
- Enter your mobile number.
- Click on the 'Request OTP'
- Enter the mobile number, OTP (received on the mobile) and the new password.
- Click on the 'Reset' Password
- A new password will be generated
Now, you can log in with new password and download the hall ticket.

Candidates can raise objections or challenge the CLAT provisional Answer Key for questions/answers with which they find any errors or discrepancies on the official website. Check out the quick steps below:
- Go to the consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- Login using your registered mobile number and password.
- Click on the Submit Objections button.
- Select the type of objection (1) About the question or (2) About the answer key.
- Enter objection details.
- Click on submit.
- Click on the Make Payment button to make a payment of INR 1,000 per question.
How to Download CLAT Admit Card 2026?
You can download the admit card for CLAT in this way:
- Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Enter the registered mobile number and password
- Click on the Login button.
- Download Admit Card
- Take a print out.

You should understand that once you opt to get out of the counselling process you can not go back. You will get option to either freeze your seat or choose to let it go and participate in next round. You can anytime exit the whole process too.

There is no restriction as such for the CLAT exam. Thus, one can give CLAT any number of times they want to. Candidates should not feel bad if they are not able to clear the CLAT exam in first time.

No you can not get admission to 24 participating NLUs without clearing CLAT Exam. For admission to NLU Delhi, you need to clear AILET Exam.

CLAT Notifications
The Consortium of NLUs conducts the CLAT Exam from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is held only in one slot. There are no shifts in CLAT Exam. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode.
