The National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2026 exam on May 3. The NTA will also release the provisional NEET 2026 answer key for the candidates and ask them to send objections in case of any incorrect answers given in the provisional answer key.

The exam conducting body will release the NEET 2026 result within a month of the exam. The testing agency will release the percentile, rank, category and gender of the candidate. After the result, the State Counselling Committees will start the Counselling process to provide admission to the qualified candidates.

There are over Sixty Thousand seats of MBBS offered by the private colleges. Most of the candidates prefer Government Medical Colleges because they are more cost-effective, exposure to patients and have reputed mentors. But not all candidates are fortunate enough to get all these facilities because the competition is very tough. Over two million candidates appear in the NEET exam and on over sixty thousand MBBS seats are available in the Government Institutions. But most of the candidates who could not secure the MBBS seat in the government college need to opt for the Private Medical College.

  • The NTA extends exam duration. The re-exam will be held from 2:00 to 5:15 PM.
  • The NTA has increased the rough work space to 4 pages.
