NIOS Class 12 Exam 2025: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will announce the NIOS 12th result 2025 October in January 2026 on the official website - results.nios.ac.in/. NIOS has started the registration process for the NIOS 12th public exam April-May 2026. Students enrolled in stream 1, block 1 for March/April 2026 exam can pay the exam fee from Nov 21 to Dec 20, 2025 without late fee. The NIOS registration form will be available on the official website - nios.ac.in.

NIOS conducted the NIOS 12th Exam 2025 from October 14 to December 2, 2025. NIOS 12th time table 2025 was released on September 19, 2025. About NIOS 12th 

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducts NIOS Class 12th examinations twice a year, in March-April and October.

Q:   What to do if there are errors in NIOS 12th Admit Card?

In case of any errors in NIOS 12th admit card 2025, students must report to the higher authorities. They should get it rectified as early as possible. Students are advised to verify the details in the NIOS 12th admit card. If errors are not corrected, they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. There should not be any spelling mistake in the student details.

Q:   What are the different ways of checking the NIOS Result 2025 class 12?

There are multiple ways in which a candidate can check his/her NIOS result 2025 Class 12. These modes are the official website, Digilocker, and SMS. For the first two modes, candidates need Internet connectivity. For the third mode, they just need a functional mobile number. To check the result online, students have to visit the official result portal of NIOS. Results. NIOS. AC. In. Then they have to enter the enrollment number and captcha and click on submit.

Q:   How can I apply for rechecking or re-evaluation of my NIOS 12th Result if I am not satisfied with it?

Those who are not satisfied with their NIOS 12th results can apply for revaluation. Candidates should apply for the NIOS 12th result re-evaluation within 15 days of declaration of the result. Candidates can either opt for the re-totaling of the marks, or re-evaluation of the answer papers once again. They have to pay the required fees for the revaluation or retotaling. NIOS will notify the same on the official website, once the results are out.
Q:   What is the fee for rechecking and re-evaluation of the NIOS 12th exam result?

The application fee for rechecking the NIOS 12th scores is INR 300 per subject. This amount has to be paid online. Candidates who want to get a copy of their answer sheets for re-evaluation have to apply with INR 1,000 per subject. They have to apply through the official site by paying the required amount as DD. Once, the results are out, NIOS will activate the links for application for revaluation.
Q:   I have got 76% in my Class 12 pre boards. Does that mean that I cannot achieve 90% marks in 12th board exam?

You are advised not to stress yourself. Continue putting in your best effort. Allot more time to those topics in which you are not that confident. Make short notes of important points. Hard work will definitely help you achieve more marks than your pre boards. 

Q:   If a student fails in pre-board exam, does that mean one cannot appear in the Class 12 Board examination?
A: 

Even if a student fails in pre board exam, he or she can appear for the Class 12 board exam. Model exams help students to know how well they are prepared for the Board exam. A student cannot be detained from appearing in the Class 12 Board exam, if failed in pre board exam. Hence students need not worry, if they fail in pre board. They are advised to prepare well within the remaining time and appear for the board exam. 

Q:   Can I join for BTech course even if I fail in 12th grade?

Yes, you can join B Tech through lateral entry admission. For this you have to do Polytechnic Diploma course from government authorized Polytechnic college. It is mandatory to pass 10th grade to join the 3 year Polytechnic Diploma course. Once you successfully complete Polytechnic course, you can appear for the Lateral entry entrance test and if you clear the entrance exam, you will get admission to second year of the B Tech course. 

Q:   When a student drops one year, what is the syllabus applicable for the following Class 12 board exam of next year?

Students have to follow the Class 12 syllabus applicable for the year for which they are appearing the Class 12 board exam. They can check the Class 12th syllabus on the official website of the board. They can also take help from their teachers for the Class 12th  syllabus.

Q:   When will the NIOS result 2025 Class 12 be declared?

NIOS Result 2025 Class 12 for October session will be released in January 2026. Students can check NIOS Class 12 result 2025 on the official website: NIOS. AC. In. They have to enter their enrollment numbers to check the NIOS result 2025 Class 12. The NIOS 12th Class result 2025 includes details like subject-wise marks, total marks, and qualifying status of NIOS 12th exams 2025. The NIOS Class 12 result 2025 can be checked via SMS and Digilocker. NIOS Result 2025 Class 12 for April session was released on June 16, 2025.

Q:   Can I get admission in GL Bajaj Noida for B.Tech with 60% in Class 12th?

No, only 60% in your class 12 grades will not allow you immediate admission to the B.Tech programme at the GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management in Greater Noida. A higher overall score and a strong performance on the necessary entry exams are prerequisites for eligibility.

To be admitted directly to the B.Tech programme, you need to fulfil the following requirements:

  • At least 80% overall in Class 12, where Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are required courses
  • Pass the UPCET entrance test or JEE Main.

It is feasible to lateral into the second year of a B.Tech programme if you possess:

  • Completed a three-year engineering programme in any discipline
  • Completed a three-year B.Sc. programme.
  • Passed the 10+2 exam, specialising in mathematics
  • At least 45% of the possible points on the qualifying exam
