UCEED Admit Card 2026 - The last date to report any discrepancies that have occurred in the UCEED 2026 Hall ticket was January 08, 2026. IIT Bombay released admit cards for the UCEED 2026 exam on January 02, 2026. How to Download UCEED Admit Card 2026

IIT UCEED 2026 Hall ticket was out for all the candidates who have filled the UCEED Registration form. The link to download the admit card was activated on the website of UCEED.

To download the UCEED 2026 admit card

  1. Click on the admit card download link
  2. You will be redirected to a login window 
  3. Enter your email ID and password 
  4. Admit card will be displayed on the screen; you can download it in PDF format
  5. Download and take a printout of the admit card.

Q:   When will UCEED 2026 admit cards be released?
A: 

The admit cards for the UCEED 2026 exam were released on January 02, 2026. Admit cards will be released for all candidates who successfully complete the application form. It was released online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. Canddiates must carry admit card with them to the exam centre.

Q:   What are the exam cities where UCEED 2026 exam will be conducted?
A: 

IIT Bombay released the updated list of UCEED 2026 exam centres through the information brochure. 

The list of exam cities to hold UCEED 2026 Centres: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulum, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Visakhapatnam, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, and Mysuru.

Note that each city could have one or more exam centres. The allotment of exam centres would be done based on the exam city selected by the candidate, the address, and the total applicants.

Q:   When will the UCEED 2026 application form open?

UCEED 2026 Application was open from October 01, 2025, on the official website. Last date to apply with regular fees was on November 05, 2025. Candidates who met the prescribed eligibility criteria were able to apply for admission.

Q:   Can students from Commerce/ Arts or Humanities apply for admission to IIITDM Jabalpur through UCEED 2026?
A: 

No, candidates from m Commerce, Arts or Humanities at 10+2 are not eligible to apply for BDes admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur. 

For admission to BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. The candidate is urged to carefully go through the detailed UCEED 2025 eligibility criteria before applying for admission.

Q:   Can I come out of the UCEED exam centre before the final bell rings?
A: 

No, you cannot come out of the UCEED exam centre before the final bell rings. The candidate is not allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is over. Once the exam is over, the invigilator will collect the answer sheets and complete any other formalities. 

Q:   How will scribes be allocated to the candidates for UCEED exam?
A: 

Exam officials will make the necessary arrangements through the test centre administrator (TCA) of the examination centre to provide a panel of scribes (amanuenses). Only such candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for scribe services.

Scribes will be students of Class XI. The PwD/Dyslexic (severe) candidate has to choose a scribe from this panel. The candidates are not be allowed to bring their own scribes.

How to Fix Discrepancy in UCEED 2026 Admit Card?

Carefully examine the entries in UCEED admit card. In case of any discrepancy, candidate has to contact the UCEED Office at IIT Bombay at the following email address uceed@iitb.ac.in.

Common discrepancies may include

  • Name of the candidate may be incorrectly spelled
  • Some information may be missing, for instance, your roll number or the name of the exam center
  • Information may be blurred, etc.

Q:   Will IIT Bombay conduct spot round of counseling for UCEED 2026?
A: 

UCEED 2026 counseling will be conducted by IIT Bombay. The counseling process will have five rounds.

The Joint Admission Process will not have any spot rounds.

However, IITDM Jabalpur may conduct a spot round of admissions at the institutional level if there are any vacant seats after completion of the counselling.

Q:   What is provisional UCEED seat allotment?
A: 

UCEED seat allotment will be provisional and will be confirmed by admitting institutes only after fees are paid, documents are duly verified, and their formalities are completed. 

If any of the steps are left incomplete, the seat allotment can be cancelled.

In such a case, the vacant seats will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.

UCEED 2026 Exam-day Guidelines

IIT Bombay notified candidates about the dos and don'ts to be followed at the UCEED exam venue through the admit card.

Identity Verification

The candidate's identity will be verified by invigilators as well as IIT representatives.

If the identity of a candidate is in doubt, then he or she may not be allowed to appear for the examination. In some cases, exam officials may permit the candidate to appear in the exam after completing certain formalities. However, no extra time will be allowed to complete the examination to compensate for the time taken to complete these formalities.

Further, the candidature of such candidates will be subject to the decision of the UCI Committee, which will be final and binding.

Impersonation/ Use of Unfair Means

These types of actions will be considered serious offenses and lead to disqualification. Further, criminal proceedings may also be brought against those indulging in these activities. 

Reporting Time

Candidates need to report to their UCEED exam center at 7 AM.

The admit card and a Valid, Original Photo Identity Proof would be required for recording biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) before appearing for the examination.

Exiting the exam hall 

The candidate has to remain in the examination hall for the entire duration of the examination.

Blank sheets Aspirants will be given blank sheets for rough work. These sheets need to be handed over to the Invigilator after the UCEED Part A exam is over.
Stationery

The candidate must bring their own drawing material like pens, pencils, sketch pens, and colors for the examination.

However, drawing sheets are not allowed inside the examination hall.

Items NOT Permitted

The candidate is NOT allowed to carry any electronic devices (mobile phones, smartphones, watches of any type, calculators, tablets, and the like), abacus, slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, and so on to the examination hall.

Exam officials will also put up a list of forbidden items on the website before the exam if there are additional items.

Q:   Where can I get hard copies of the UCEED 2026 scorecard?
A: 

IIT Bombay will not release any hard copies of the UCEED 2026 scorecard. The scorecard will be available in online mode only.

It will be released in the form of a downloadable pdf; you can download it from the official admission portal - uceed.iitb.ac.in.

The last date to download the scorecard is July 31, 2026.

Q:   When should I pay the UCEED 2026 seat-acceptance fee?
A: 

To avoid any last-minute unforeseen transaction issues, you should pay the seat acceptance fee for a round well before the end time/date of the corresponding round.

If the fee is not paid within the given deadline, allotment will be cancelled. Also, such seats will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.

Q:   What are the important topics candidates need to prepare for Part A of UCEED 2026?

UCEED 2026 question paper will have two parts: 1. computer-based Part A and 2. Drawing and aptitude based Part B.

UCEED 2026 question paper will have two parts. Part A will be online and Part B will be offline. Part A will include Numerical Answer Type, Multiple Select Question and Multiple Choice Question. Part B will have sketching and drawing questions.

Q:   What key points do candidates need to remember about UCEED 2026 Part B of question paper?
A: 

Candidate needs to remember following points about Part B question paper of UCEED 2026.

  • Part B will include TWO questions. Question for section will be shown on the computer monitor.
  •  Candidate, after reading the question, has to write/ draw the answer option in the answer booklet provided by the invigilator.
  • Part B test will evaluate the drawing ability and Design Aptitude of the candidate.
  • Part B is mandatory and will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies for Part A.
  • The cut-off marks for Part A will be declared by IIT Bombay before the declaration of results.
Q:   What types of questions will be asked in Section 2 of UCEED 2026 question paper?
A: 

The UCEED 2026 question paper for Part A will include three sections.

It will include 28 Multiple Select Questions (MSQs). Each MSQ may have one or more than one correct choice (s) out of the four given.

The following marking scheme will be followed for MSQ-type questions:

  • Full Marks: + 4 If only (all) the correct option (s) is (are) chosen and None of the incorrect options is chosen.
  •  Partial Marks: + 3 If all four options are correct but ONLY three options are chosen, and None of the incorrect options is chosen.
  • Partial Marks: + 2 If three or more options are correct but ONLY two options are chosen, both of which are correct and None of the incorrect options is chosen. 
  • Partial Marks: + 1 If two or more options are correct but ONLY one option is chosen and it is a correct option and None of the incorrect options is chosen.
  • Zero Marks: 0 If None of the options is chosen (i.e., the question is unanswered). Negative Marks: -1 In all other cases.
Q:   What happens if a candidate impersonates another candidate in UCEED exam?
A: 

Impersonation in UCEED exam is not allowed. Any candidate who is found indulging in such activities will be disqualified. Criminal proceedings may also be brought against candidates. So it is asked that candidates follow guidelines issued by IIT Bombay for appearing in exam. 

Activities like cheating, disturbing other candidates during the exam, etc. are also not allowed.

Q:   Will exam officials provide stationery to candidates in the UCEED exam centre?
A: 

Exam officials will not make any arrangements for stationery items for appearing in the exam. So, it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to bring the necessary stationery. Here are the basic stationery items one needs to take the UCEED exam: pens, pencils, sketch pens and colours for the examination. The candidate, however, mustn't bring any drawing sheets with them to the exam hall. It is recommended that the candidate carefully go through the list of allowed and barred items before arriving at the UCEED exam centre.

If you have biology as a subject in 10+2, then you can apply for B.Des programme at IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.

To apply at IIITDM, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 10+2.

No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
