IIT Delhi Partners with LG Electronics to Advance Research and Innovation
IIT Delhi and LG Electronics have partnered in a strategic collaboration to strengthen research ties and drive innovation.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, through its Corporate Relations Office, has forged a strategic alliance with LG Electronics to advance research and innovation in cutting-edge technologies. Formalised through a Master Agreement, this collaboration leverages IIT Delhi’s academic expertise and LG’s technological prowess to pioneer transformative solutions in sustainable technologies, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and other emerging domains. This collaboration underscores both institutions' dedication to driving impactful research, enhancing industry-academia synergy, and pushing the boundaries of technological innovation.
The collaboration will bring together esteemed faculty members, including Prof. Nitya Nand Goswami and Prof. Jayant Jain from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, who will focus on material and corrosion research, and Prof. Ankit Singhal and Prof. Yashasvi Bansal from the Department of Electrical Engineering, driving advancements in electrical technologies.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Preeti Ranjan Panda, Dean, Corporate Relations, IIT Delhi, stated, “At IIT Delhi, we continuously strive to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.
