IIT JAM 2020 Exam Analysis & Expected Cutoffs

IIT JAM 2020 was conducted by IIT Kanpur on February 9 in two sessions. JAM Session-I was held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM for Biotechnology (BT), Physics (PH) and Mathematical Statistics (MS) papers and Session-II was from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM for Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG) and Mathematics (MA) papers.

Most of the students who have IIT JAM 2020 shared that the exam was comparatively easier, this year. Students shared that the overall difficulty level of the questions asked was average.

As per IIT JAM exam analysis by experts the difficulty level of the exam was moderate. Further, NAT questions were time consuming and required aspirants to solve the questions at hand with a lot of attention.

Subject-wise IIT JAM analysis is such that the Mathematics paper was lengthy and tricky. The difficulty level of the Chemistry paper was also high. On the other hand, questions asked in the Physics, Biotechnology, Geology and Mathematical Statistics paper was similar to last year’s entrance exam.
