CSBS in Chandigarh University .

Placements: The no. Of students in the course are bit less compared to other courses. But still the course is great. We get interact with the team of TCS and they also give us industrial training exclusively for us. Its a great opportunity for the people who are enrolled. This is course is very lengthy and sometimes it will be hectic for us to manage all the assignments and all.

Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are great. Chandigarh University is very known for its infrastructure. The labs are also great the teachers are highly qualified also. But after all this Chandigarh University lacks in hostel. The hostel are not upto the mark in Chandigarh University and the mess food is the worst.

Faculty: The faculty in Chandigarh University are highly qualified you will find most of the faculty who have done their Ph.D. In Chandigarh University the faculty encourages students for Research and Development. Many faculty even suggests us to file patents which would be helpful.

I had a beautiful experience, and the crowd is good.

Placements: Almost all big players like Amazon, Google, JP Morgan, Microsoft, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, EY, JP Morgan, High Radius, Atlassian and many more visit our campus for placements. Internships opportunities also do come from 6th semester onwards; meanwhile one can always apply themselves, the college does support in terms of credit transfers.

Infrastructure: The Food Court is very hygienic and well maintained i.e. Food Republic. The campus as whole is cleaned and full of greenery full of nature, it has all facilities one needs. The hostels are also pretty much well-equipped with Gym, Mess, lifts also more hostels are being constructed. The sports facilities are top notch, also recently Arshdeep Singh Indian Cricket got himself enrolled in the university. Other than cricket, we do have coaches and playgrounds/courts for tennis badminton, volleyball, football, basketball, boxing archery and American football etc.

Faculty: The teachers throughout my semesters were very good and ensured amazing educational experience All were very helpful, well qualified and have good domain knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant and continuously integrated with the feedback of students; Includes innovative projects which allow us to study and research topics outside of course. Semester exams are not too tough; one can easily pass if he/she is attending the classes.

Other: Societies and clubs are really very good if you are getting admission, enroll yourself in HTS - Hack overflow Technical Society, IEEE Student Branch, Kalpana Chawla Research center.
