In Chemistry topics are Physical Chemistry (like Mole Concept, Thermodynamics), Organic Chemistry (Hydrocarbons, Alcohols), and Inorganic Chemistry (Periodic Table, Chemical Bonding).

Students preparing for the VSAT exam must cover these topics such as Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Electromagnetism, Modern Physics, and Motion to cover for Physics section. Students with basic 10+2 understand can prepare for the exam. These topics are based on NCERT guidelines.

VSAT exam is conducted in online computer based mode. Students will have to answer questions on a computer terminal at designated centers at institute campus.

The VSAT syllabus is the set of subjects, topics and sub-topics on which the exam question paper will be based.

VSAT syllabus is based on Maths or Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English/Aptitude. Candidates opting for B.Tech should prepare for PCM + English; those opting for agriculture can choose PCB + English.

It is based on NCERT Class 11 and Class 12, of CBSE curriculum and also from most state boards to ensure fairness for students across different educational backgrounds.

As the VSAT is not very difficult compared to other engineering entrance exams like the JEE, it becomes easy for even the average students to crack it easily. However, to do the same they need follow the prep tips mentioned below - 

• Stick to the NCERT books and a couple of supplementary books, thats it.
• Don't overburden yourself with a lot of books, and prep notes. Just stick to the basics and cover the syllabus of VSAT well before time.
• Give mock tests.
• Solve past year question papers in abundance.

Maths in VSAT test will include topics from Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Probability, and Coordinate Geometry. The questions will be based on Class 11 and 12 NCERT.

The VSAT will be declared after the exam is conducted. It is expected that the result will bs declared after the final answer key is out.

VSAT is easy to moderate level. It is based on 10+2 level, however questions are easy to solve and if students have prepared well, they can qualify easily.

Through VSAT, candidates can seek admission into B.Tech programs in various branches such as CSE, ECE, EEE, ME, CE, etc., and also B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture.

The VSAT counselling is a process thorugh which candidates are shortlisted for the courses. During the counselling process, candidates are alloted courses based on their rank of merit.
