According to the Karnataka SSLC passing criteria for 2026, students will be declared qualified only if they meet all of the following conditions:

Secure an average of 33% marks, combining both internal assessments and external examinations

The Karnataka Board has decided to introduce ‘three annual examinations’ namely Exam 1, Exam 2 and Exam 3 for SSLC exams. Those who fail in exam 1 can appear for exam 2 and exam 3.
