It started on March 14, 2026 (Saturday), 10:00 AM. The application portal closed on April 10, 2026 at 5:30 PM.
IIT Bombay closed the registration process for UCEED 2026 with late fees on November 10, 2025 and with regular fees on November 05, 2025.
To fill UCEED 2026 Application form, candidates were required to register and fill in personal and academic information, select UCEED 2026 test centers, upload documents, and pay fee. UCEED 2026 application fee was INR 4,000 for General and INR 2,000 for reserved and female candidates.
UCEED 2026 entrance exam was conducted on January 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Steps to Fill UCEED Application Form 2026
Application form for UCEED 2026 is closed now. Candidates who meet eligibility criteria for B.Des program need to follow steps given below to apply for UCEED admission 2026.
- Click on UCEED registration link. Enter email ID and click on Register button. An activation link will be sent to your registered email address.
- On clicking link, you will be redirected to a page where you have to fill additional details like name, DOB, gender, mobile number, etc.
- Select and confirm a password for new applicant's account.
- Once you submit all details, registration process will be complete
- Candidate has to fill their personal details, like Birth category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) status, PwD status, Email address, Mobile number, etc.
- They need to provide their education related details, like year of passing, name of college, school, etc.
- A maximum of three test cities can be selected in order of preference. Any requests for a change in UCEED exam cities will not be accepted.
- Scanned copies of documents have to be uploaded in the prescribed format by IIT Bombay.
- Before paying application fee, candidate needs to confirm that UCEED resgitration form is complete. Application fee for UCEED 2026 will be paid online.
Eligibility Criteria for UCEED 2026

The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2026 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.

If you have biology as a subject in 10+2, then you can apply for B.Des programme at IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
To apply at IIITDM, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 10+2.

No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
