IIT-Bombay GATE 2021 answer key: The students who want to raise objections can do so online through the official website. Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 500 per objection against the GATE answer key.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has opened the GATE 2021 Answer Key Challenge Window for MTech aspirants from today. Read on to know the details.

GATE 2021 answer key objection window opens

GATE 2021 answer key: IIT Bombay has made available the online window to raise objections against the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 answer key. The students who want to raise objections need to visit the official website: gate.iitb.ac.in.

Candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 500 per objection. The objections will be studied and those which are considered to be right will be incorporated in the final answer key. Candidates whose objection gets accepted will get a refund of the fee.

GATE answer key 2021: Steps to raise objections

Step-1: Visit the website gate.iitb.ac.in or click on the link above

Step-2: Click on the answer key objection link on the home page

Step-3: Log in using credentials

Staying updated about the latest educational events is just a click away
Enter Mobile Number

Step-4: Click on the question you think is wrong, write an argument and attach supporting documents

Step-5: Make a payment of objection fee

Step-6: Submit and take a print out for further reference

The GATE 2021 result will be released on March 22. The score remains valid for a period of three years from the date of declaration of result. The engineering entrance was held on February 6, 7, 13 and 14. Those who clear GATE will be eligible to take admission in MTech courses at IITs, IISc and several other institutes, as well as they, will be eligible to apply for jobs at several public sector undertaking (PSUs).

Candidates need to meet minimum qualifying mark to participate in GATE 2026 CCMT counselling. The CGPA is different for each category. Yes, candidates with GATE score of 400 to 500 are also eligible for COAP counselling. However, admission and selection chances completely depends on different criteria such as branch selection, competition level, category, etc.

Yes, ITT Guwahati released GATE 2026 qualifying cutoff marks for all subjects on March 28. Candidates can check passing mark of respective papers now.

Aspirants with GATE scores can get admission in M.Tech programme at IIIT Pune. The seats are allotted via CCMT Counselling. In 2025, the closing GATE cutoff was 354 for Electronics & Communication Engineering and 536 for CSE. The cutoffs are quite competitive considering the limited seats available

The JNU M.Tech cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI category varied from 338 to 529 for the M.Tech CSE and M.Tech ECE courses. In the last round, MTech CSE came out as the more competitive course, with the cutoff being 443.
