GATE CSE Question Paper Structure

As per the exam structure, GATE 2027 CS paper will have two sections - Section 1 will have questions from General Aptitude and Mathematics for a total 28 marks. The remaining 72 marks questions will be from computer science topics. • The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be conducted online, and the question paper will be in English.
• The test paper duration is three hours, and the total marks for the GATE exam question paper are 100.
• The marking scheme of the questions is 1 or 2 marks. For a one-mark question, 1/3rd mark will be deducted, and for a two-mark question, 2/3rd mark will be deducted.
• There is no negative marking for multiple-choice questions and numerical-aptitude test questions.
