How to Use Rough Sheets in JEE Main 2026 Exam Hall?

How to Use Rough Sheets in JEE Main 2026 Exam Hall? - Before the exam starts, students will have to be settled on their allotted systems. During this time, the invigilators will provide the students with the JEE Main rough sheets. A candidate initially receives three or four rough sheets. If the student requires more sheets, they can simply ask the invigilator for extra sheets. The rough sheets in JEE Main are important since candidates are required to do multiple calculations and determine the answers after solving multiple steps. JEE Mains exam aspirants appearing for the session 2 exam are advised to write clearly and keep each question’s rough work separate so that answers do not get mixed.

Before using it for calculations, students have to write their names and roll numbers on it. Once the exam is completed, students have to return the rough sheets to the invigilator. Candidates are not allowed to take any rough paper outside the hall. Inside the JEE Mains hall, students must use the rough sheets in an organised way. This will help solve numerical questions faster and reduce the chances of errors. Continue reading to know how to use the JEE Main rough sheets.
