JEE Main 26 June 2022 Question Paper and Answer Key Solution: Memory-based JEE Main 26 June questions and answer for shift 1 and 2 are now available below. Note that these are the memory-based questions and answers that are curated from various sources like coaching centres, students and various exam analysis available after the exam.  

JEE Main 2022 answer key will be available officially by NTA once the exam gets over on June 29. The official answer key will be available under the respective logins of the candidates. Q:   How many questions are asked in JEE Main exam?
A:

Paper 1 has 75 questions where Physics Chemistry and Mathematics, each section has 25 questions. Out of 25 questions, 20 are MCQs and five are numerical value questions. You must answer all 5 numerical value-type questions. All 20 multiple-choice questions are compulsory. Complete all 75 questions in 3 hours.

Q:   Do I need to attempt all the questions in JEE Main exam?

NO, it is compulsory to attempt all questions in the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main exam has negative marking and candidates must answer only those questions for which they know the correct answer. Students must note that there are no minimum marks in JEE Main that students need to score. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.

There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. It is advised that students should solve at least previous 10 year question papers of JEE Main. However, the exam pattern as well as difficulty level of JEE Mains has underwent a lot of changes during the last 10 years but still solving previous year JEE Main question papers from last 10 years will definitely help in scoring the good marks in the exam. As new type of questions (Questions with Numerical Value Answer) were intrduced recently, students are advised to practice solving these type of questions to help solve it during the actual exam.

How to Use JEE Main 26 June 2022 Answer Key to Calculate Score?

JEE Main answer key can be used in the following ways to calculate a probable score in the exam before the result is announced. Here is how to do so:

  • Download the answer key of JEE Main 2022.
  • Now crosscheck the answers in the key with that of the responses submitted by you in the exam.
  • If the answer matches then add 4 marks. If not then deduct 1 marks.
  • Follow the process and calculate the total score.

Note, that the scores that are fetched after using the answer key are the raw score. NTA will convert the raw score to percentile scores for the All India Rank, cutoff and final marks.

Official JEE Main 2022 Answer Key

NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 answer key after the exam is over. Candidates will be able to calculate their raw scores using the official JEE Main 2022 answer key. The official answer key is uploaded under the respective logins of the candidates. They have to use their application number and password/date of birth to access the link for question papers and answer keys.

The official answer key will be available for challenge. Once the challenges are reviewed, changes if any are made to the answer key and a final answer key is released with the JEE Main 2022 result. Based on the final answer key, marks are calculated for the result.

JEE Main 2022 Result

JEE Main 2022 result will be available online on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.  Candidates can check the result online. It will have the details of the candidate's normalised percentile score in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and aggregate percentile score in all three subjects.

JEE Main scorecard for the June exam will not have the All India Rank of the candidates. the All India Rank of the candidates will be based on the best performance of the candidates out of both sessions. Therefore the AIR will be available after the July sessions exams end with the final result.

JEE Main 2022 Cutoff

JEE Main 2022 cutoff means the minimum marks candidates need to obtain to sit for JEE Advanced. NAT release this cutoff after the final session of JEE Main 2022 is over. The cutoff marks vary category-wise. The cutoff marks will be the minimum percentile marks needed. This year the top 2,50,000 candidates in JEE Main 2022, will be able to register for JEE Advanced.

The the easiest shift of the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was January 28, shift 2. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was held in 10 shifts. To overcome the difficulty level differences, NTA will normalise the scores of the candidates.
