Coaching institutes have released the memory-based JEE Main 2022 Question Paper with Answer Key and Solutions for June 25 shift 1 and 2 exam as the same can be downloaded here. As per the initial reaction from students who had appeared in the exam, the paper was easy but lengthy.

JEE Main June 25 Shift 1 Paper Review
Mathematics- The Mathematics section in JEE Main shift 1 June 25 paper was lengthy and difficult. Many questions were asked from mathematical reasoning, relation & function, matrices & determinants. More questions were asked from the class 12 syllabus than from the class 11 syllabus.
NO, it is compulsory to attempt all questions in the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main exam has negative marking and candidates must answer only those questions for which they know the correct answer. Students must note that there are no minimum marks in JEE Main that students need to score. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.
There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. In numerical ability question type, no options are there. Solve them and write answer using keyword and mouse.
Physics- As per the students who had appeared in the shift 1 exam, the Physics Paper was NCERT based. Many questions were asked from Rotational Mechanics, Work Energy and Optics. The paper consisted of mostly numerical questions and less theory part.
Chemistry- Most students who had appeared in the JEE Main shift 1 paper of June 25 found Chemistry to be the easiest of all three subjects. Questions were NCERT based and easy. Many questions were asked from surface chemistry, organic chemistry, Biomolecules and chemistry in everyday life. Inorganic has higher weightage in comparison to physical chemistry and Organic.

How to calculate scores using the JEE Main 2022 answer key
Candidates can follow the given steps to calculate their scores using the answer key of JEE Main 2022.

The total will be the probable marks secured by the candidates in the examination.
Candidates must note that the calculated marks will be indicative. The actual scores will be available only after the announcement of the JEE Main 2022 result.
It is advised that students should solve at least previous 10 year question papers of JEE Main. However, the exam pattern as well as difficulty level of JEE Mains has underwent a lot of changes during the last 10 years but still solving previous year JEE Main question papers from last 10 years will definitely help in scoring the good marks in the exam. As new type of questions (Questions with Numerical Value Answer) were intrduced recently, students are advised to practice solving these type of questions to help solve it during the actual exam.
Chapterwise weightage of class 11 and 12 topics in JEE Main are mentioned below:
- Physics: Current Electricity Waves AC, Magnetism, Laws of Motion Work, Power and Energy.
- Chemistry the high weightage topics are s and p block elements, Coordination compounds, Thermodynamics Gaseous state, Chemical bonding, Atomic structure, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry Organic Chemistry.
- Mathematics, the high weightage topics are Sequence and Series Vectors and 3D, Integral and Differential Calculus, Definite and Indefinite Integral.
JEE Main 2022 Result Date
NTA will soon announce the JEE Main 2022 result date on the website. It is likely that the result will be announced in the first week of July. The subject-wise and total scores obtained in JEE Main 2022 June session exam will be available in the result. However, the All India Rank (AIR) will be released after both the sessions of JEE Main 2022 are conducted.
JEE Main Cutoff 2022
NTA will announce the JEE Main 2022 cutoff along with the result of July session result. There are two types of cutoff – qualifying and admission. JEE Main 2022 qualifying cutoff is the minimum mark to qualify for JEE Advanced 2022. However, the admissions cutoffs are decided by the authorities for allotment into the participating institutes.

The the easiest shift of the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was January 28, shift 2. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was held in 10 shifts. To overcome the difficulty level differences, NTA will normalise the scores of the candidates.
