The exam authorities has released the JoSAA 2021 Cutoff for IIITs at the official website. JoSAA 2021 IIIT cutoffs is available on the official website of JoSAA for all counselling rounds. Candidates can also check the same here. JoSAA Cutoffs for IIITs are the closing ranks after which candidates were not allowed for admission to a stream or an institute.
Candidates must note that the cutoff of IIITs for top BTech branches is different for each institute, branch, category, state quota and gender. Candidates must note that the JoSAA has prepared IIITs cutoff for top BTech branches after considering various factors related to JEE Main. Seat availability and students’ choices. JoSAA 2021 IIIT Cutoff for Top Engineering Branches
Candidates can check the JoSAA 2021 cutoff for top BTech branches and compare it with 2010 & 20219 in the table below. The cutoff is different for each institute, course, category, gender and state quota.
The authority will release the official schedule of the JoSAA. It is expected that the Round 5 seat allotment will be released in July 2024, and the cutoff will also be published in July 2024 (tentatively) on the official website at josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA cutoff will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks.

Q. What is the minimum percentile required for IIIT?
A. In order to secure admission in IIITs, candidates must have scored above 90 percentile in JEE Main exam.
Q. Is IIIT better than NIT?
A. For branches like Computer Science, Information Technology and Electronics and Communication, few IIITs are better than the NITs. But for core engineering branches, NITs are better.
Q. Which is better IIIT or IIT?
A. IIITs are good institutions for engineering studies. However, they are not quite behind from IITs, India’s most premier Indian engineering institutes of global repute.
Q. Is IIIT Hyderabad better than NIT Trichy?

- Candidates should have JEE Advanced rank.
- Candidates must have at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12 and SC, ST and PWD candidates must have atleast 65% marks.
- Candidates must be within the category wise top 25 percentile of successful candidates of their respective class 12 boards.

No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admission

The JEE Advanced JoSAA counselling dates will be made available on the official website of JoSAA - josaa.nic.in. Usually, the JoSAA counselling registration starts a day after the JEE Advanced result is anniunced. Complete schedule will be available on the official website.

No, one does not have to apply separately at IIT Madras website after JoSAA counselling. This is because the institute follows a common admission process for its BTech course just like the other IITs. Shortlisted students who get a seat through the JoSAA counselling, simply need to report for docume

Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA 2025. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment results will be released in online mode after every round. Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit, preferences, and availability of seats. After the declaration of the seat allotment results, JoSAA releases cutoffs separately for every round. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release Rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 cutoffs on the official website at josaa.nic.in.
