How to Use KEAM Answer Key for Marks Calculation?
Candidates must utilize the KEAM 2024 marking scheme to estimate their anticipated scores in the exam. The scheme is outlined as follows:
- Correct answers: 4 marks awarded.
- Incorrect answers: 1 mark deducted.
- No penalty for unanswered questions.
KEAM 2024 Pharmacy Exam Pattern
In the KEAM exam, the question papers consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question presents five answer options, with only one being correct. Candidates receive four marks for every correct response and incur a deduction of one mark for each incorrect answer in both the Pharmacy and Pharmacy Entrance Examinations.

KEAM 2024 Marks v/s Ranks
Note that after the effect of the standardisation process, the KEAM 2024 marks will be computed out of 600. Check below the KEAM 2024 marks v/s rank based on previous year trends:
- Physics: Bernoulli theorem, Gravitation, Vector, Circular motion.
- Maths: Matrices and Determinants, Application of Derivatives, Vector, Probability, Definite Integration, Functions, 3D Geometry, Differential Equations.
- Chemistry: Polymers, Organic Chemistry.
KEAM question papers can be downloaded from the official website cee.kerala.gov.in. In. KEAM is held in CBT mode with one paper that has three sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. The KEAM 2026 entrance exam for engineering courses will consist of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75 questions, Physics having 45 questions, and Chemistry having 30 questions. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam. For candidates appearing for KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY, the entrance exam will have 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer will fetch candidates four marks, while every incorrect answer will result in a deduction of one mark.

The Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala releases the KEAM cutoff 2024, which outlines the final ranks round by round and category by category. These cutoffs, revealing the concluding ranks for various colleges and courses, are posted on the official website following each phase of KEAM counselling.

KEAM Result 2024
CEE will release the KEAM 2024 results in the form of a scorecard accessible through candidates' respective logins. After the results announcement, candidates will have a specified period to submit their 10+2 scores. The final KEAM 2024 rank list will be prepared based on a combination of standardized 10+2 scores and KEAM 2024 scores. Candidates who qualify in the Pharmacy entrance exam and submit their 10+2 marks can access the results through the candidate portal.
The KEAM Pharmacy rank list will be prepared by using the following method: the Chemistry score obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination will be multiplied by 2.25 and added to the Physics score obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. The sum so obtained will be multiplied by a factor 2/3 to calculate the index mark for ranking the candidates for the BPharm course. The maximum index score will be 480. Using this rank list, CEE will allocate seats to candidates through the KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP-2024). Separate rank lists will be prepared for different courses, with distinct ranking criteria for each.
No marks will be deducted for questions unanswered.
There is only 1 paper in KEAM. KEAM 2026 will be held in computer-based test mode, and there will be one paper with three sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates, and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates.
