KEAM 2026 is an objective type exam with Multiple Choice Questions based on a single response. KEAM 2026 will be held in computer-based test mode and there will be one paper with three sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. Engineering exam will consist of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75, Physics having 45 and Chemistry having 30. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam. For candidates appearing for KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY, entrance exam will have 45 questions in Physics and 30 in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer will fetch candidates 4 marks, and wrong answer will lead to -1 marking.

The KEAM 2026 engineering paper will have a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will have 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions, and Chemistry will have 30 questions to be answered in 180 minutes. For KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY candidates, the Entrance Examination will have a total of 75 questions; 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry to be answered in 90 minutes.
How to Use KEAM Answer Key for Marks Calculation?
Candidates have to use the marking scheme of KEAM 2025 to calculate their expected score in the exam. The KEAM 2025 marking scheme is given below:
- Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer.
- 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- No marks will be deducted for not attempting a question.
KEAM 2025 Engineering Exam Pattern
The pattern of the exam states that the KEAM question papers comprise objective-type questions (MCQ). For each question asked, five answers will be suggested but, only one of them will be correct. For every correct response in the Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations, candidates will be awarded four marks, and for each wrong response, one mark will be deducted from the candidate’s total score.

KEAM 2025 Cutoff
The Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala will announce the KEAM cutoff 2025, detailing the final ranks round by round and category by category. These cutoffs, showcasing the concluding ranks for different colleges and courses, are published on the official website after every phase of KEAM counselling.
KEAM Result 2025
CEE will release the KEAM 2025 results in the form of a scorecard accessible through candidates' respective logins. This year, candidates will receive normalised scores due to the exam being conducted in multiple sessions. The normalised scores will have an index mark of 300, and candidates can check them on their scorecards.
After the announcement, candidates will have a specified period to submit their 10+2 scores. The final KEAM 2025 rank list will be prepared based on a combination of standardised 10+2 scores and KEAM 2025 scores. Those who qualify in the engineering entrance exam and submit their 10+2 marks can view the result through the candidate portal.
The KEAM engineering rank list will be prepared by giving equal weightage (50:50) to 10+2 scores and normalised KEAM scores. Using this rank list, CEE will allocate seats to candidates through the KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP-2025). Separate rank lists will be prepared for different courses, with distinct ranking criteria for each.
