MET 2026 Seat Allotment: Manipal Academy of Higher Education has announced MET seat allotment 2026 dates. Candidates can now check official dates for MET 2026 seat allotment to know when their admission status will be released. Official MET 2026 seat allotment link will be available at counseling.manipal.edu. For Round 1, MET seat allotment result will be released on June 8 (after 8 PM).

Candidates will be allotted into MET participating campuses based on their merit rank, preferences, category and seat availability. How to check MET 2026 seat allotment?

Candidates can check their MET 2026 seat allotment result by following steps given below.

• Go to counseling.manipal.edu
• Click on the BTech portal.
• Candidates will have to use their MAHE application number and password.
• Click on ‘Login’
• MET seat allotment will be displayed after login.

MET 2026 Seat Allotment: How are candidates selected for admission?

During MET counselling, candidates have to submit their MET scores and 12th standard marks.  MET 2026 merit list is prepared by giving 50:50 weightage to both MET scores and 12th board exam marks. If both exam phases have been attempted, the best score will be considered for admissions. Candidates can check their ranks obtained through MET 2026 rank card.

What after MET seat allotment 2026?

After allotment, candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying 1st instalment fee online. The required fee has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. MET 2026 instalment fee has to be paid before final date. Next, candidates will have to pay 2nd instalment fee. If the fee is not paid before last date, then their admissions will be cancelled.

MET 2026 Intra Institute Sliding

After all rounds of MET 2026 counselling are held, the authorities may conduct intra institute sliding in the respective institutes. This will be open only for those candidates who have physically reported to the allotted institute, and have started attending the classes in the allotted institute.

• In intra institute sliding, upgradation is possible only within the institute and there is no possibility of movement across the campus.
• The Intra Institute Sliding process (if any) will be communicated by the Admissions office of the respective institutes.
• Interested candidates will have to register for intra institute sliding at the respective institute and submit a fresh set of choice.
• Allotment will be as per MET 2026 rank, vacancy and choices submitted.
