Follow the steps below to check WBJEE 2018 seat allotment round 1 results online:
Step 1: Visit the official website of WBJEEB
Step 2: Click on the “Seat Allotment Results Round 1” tab
Step 3: Select from the option given as to what you need to check. The options include:
- Institute wise seat allotment
- Opening and closing ranks
- Seat allotment results and payment of acceptance fee
Step 4: On selecting either of the options, following will be the case:
- On selecting the first option, you will have to enter the name of college for which you wish to know the seat allotment
- On selecting the second option, a complete list of colleges and their branch wise opening and closing ranks will be displayed on the screen
- On selecting the third option, candidates will have to submit their registered credentials in order to view their allotment results and the next step is to make the payment of seat acceptance fee
The process of seat allotment is conducted on the basis of the exam cut offs. WBJEE 2018 cut offs for engineering, pharmacy and architecture courses are determined on the basis of candidates score and rank in the written examination. Candidates securing a rank equal to the cut off marks will be allowed to seek admissions, while candidates who fail to bag a rank falling within the cut off marks will not be able to participate in the next step to complete the admission process.
This makes it mandatory for a candidate to not only clear the exam but also bag a rank which is equal to WBJEE cut off marks in order to be eligible for admissions into various WBJEE 2018 participating institutes.

Adamas University WBJEE 2026 Round 3 cutoff is out for BTech. For the General AI category, the Round 3 cutoff ranges from 58967 for BTech in Mechanical Engineering to 92641 for BTech in Biotechnology. BTech in Mechanical Engineering is the most competitive branch for admission.

Only appearing for WBJEE is not enough for B.Arch. As per Council of Architecture (CoA) rules, you must also have a valid score in NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 (Architecture) alongside your academic and state entrance qualifications.

Yes, but only in private colleges through management quota, based on Class 12 marks, without needing WBJEE. Colleges like IEM, Heritage, Techno India, and Adamas offer this option.
Always check that the college is AICTE-approved before taking direct admission, as unapproved seats can create problems
