West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has started the registration and choice filling for WBJEE 2020 counselling Round 1 from August 12. Candidates can register, fill their choices and upload documents for round 1 of WBJEE 2020 counselling until August 25.
WBJEE 2020 Counselling First Round Registration, Uploading documents and Choice filling: Steps
Candidates can check steps to fill their choice from below:
Step 1 – Register with WBJEE roll number, password and security pin
Step 2 – View Personal Details - Check the personal details entered during the registration and click on the ‘Next’ button

Step 3 – Upload documents – Candidates have to upload the required scanned documents within the given specifications
Step 4 – Fill the choices of courses and institutes and locking the same.

WBJEE counselling 2020 will comprise of three rounds. For WBJEE 2020 rank holders three rounds will be held while for JEE Main 2020 rank holders one round will be conducted. For WBJEE candidates there is no counselling fee while JEE Main candidates have to pay Rs. 500 as counselling fee. There are Common Service Centres across the state established for candidates’ help in registration and any other counselling process. The candidates will be selected for seat allotment on the basis of ranks obtained, choices filled and documents uploaded.
WBJEE 2020 result was announced on August 7 after five months of the exam. A total of 73,119 students appeared for the exam out of whom 72,298 are ranked. Out of the 72,000 students who are ranked, 55,154 are male and 17,144 are female students.

Overall, WBJEE is considered moderately tough. Level of syllabus is similar to 12th standard qualifying exam. Therefore, students who are well prepared for their board exams are likely to score well in WBJEE.

No, there is no provision for conducting WBJEE twice a year. WBJEEB has always conducted WBJEE as an annual one day examination. If there is any change in exam pattern, it will be announced online.
