Q:   Where can I check the WBJEE 2025 dates?
A: 

The authorities have released the WBJEE 2025 exam date online at wbjeeb.nic.in. The details regarding the timeline of important events i.e, application, correction facility, admit card and examination are released through the WBJEE exam dates 2025. All candidates are advised to check and stay updated with the WBJEE dates so that they do not miss out any important events. WBJEE 2025 result and counselling dates will be announced soon.

Q:   When will WBJEE 2025 be held?
A: 

WBJEE took place in April 27, 2025. WBJEE test has a duration of 4 hrs where, the students have to attempt 2 papers with 1 paper having ques from Maths only while the 2nd paper has ques from both Physics & Chemistry. 

Q:   Have the WBJEE 2026 exam centres been announced?
A: 

No, the authorities have not yet announced the WBJEE 2026 exam centres. The list of centres where the examination will be held  will be released online at wbjeeb.nic.in. The authorities are expected to conduct WBJEE 2026 in 49 zones (47 in West Bengal, 1 in Assam and Tripura each). In the previous year, WBJEE was conducted in 328 exam centres. Allotment of exam centres will be done based on the candidate's preferences submitted in the WBJEE application form.

Candidates can check following tips and tricks to boost study plan for WBJEE 2024:

  • Candidates are advised to create an effective timetable before commencing preparation for WBJEE 2024. While preparing timetable, candidates are advised to divide topics in a balanced manner. In timetable, enough time should also be given to mock tests and revisions.
  • While preparing for exam, candidates should have knowledge about official WBJEE 2024 exam pattern and syllabus. By understanding pattern and syllabus, candidates will be able to know how entrance exam will be conducted and more. This will allow candidates to prepare more efficiently for examination.
  • Candidates should make sure to regularly solve WBJEE 2024 mock tests and sample papers. This will allow candidates to understand progress in terms of preparation by attempting mock tests. Candidates can also learn about commonly made mistakes by solving mock tests and working on the m before real entrance examination.

Candidates can study extensively topic which y have prepared for a day. One hour each can be given for Physics, Chemistry and Ma matics. remaining hour can be used to go over concepts which y found difficult to understand.

2 Hours Every Day

Revision is one of major keys to doing well in entrance examination. Candidates can revise whatever y had studied in this session and previous session. Additional mock tests and sample papers can also be solved.

Q:   Where can I check my allotted WBJEE exam centre?
A: 

The authorities will release the details regarding the allotted exam centre through the WBJEE admit card. Once the admit card is downloaded, the address and other important information about the allotted WBJEE exam centre will be available on the admit card. The address present in the exam centre has to be checked carefully since the candidates will have to be present on time on the examination date. Candidates are advised to visit the venue a day before the examination to know the directions and area. 

Q:   How will I know if there are any changes in the WBJEE dates?
A: 

In case of any changes in the WBJEE dates, the authorities will make the announcement online i.e., at wbjeeb.nic.in. The authorities will use no other mode to declare any changes in the announced dates of WBJEE. Candidates are advised to keep checking the WBJEE exam dates page for any updated information. Through the WBJEE dates, the candidates will be able to know when the various examination and admission events will be held. 

Q:   Are calculators allowed inside the WBJEE exam centre?
A: 

No. The authorities do not allow calculators inside the WBJEE exam centre. As per the WBJEE exam guidelines, any type of electronic device will be strictly prohibited at the examination centre. Candidates are advised to be careful since they will be disqualified if they are caught with any prohibited item. No eatables and drinks will be allowed inside the examination centre. Before reporting at the examination centre, the candidates are advised to check the official examination guidelines.

If you belong to the OBC, SC, ST, EWS or PWD HS category, then yes, you can get a seat at KGEC with a rank of 600 in the WBJEE entrance examination. 

For the OBC HS category, the overall cutoff ranged from 4156 to 11190, according to the first and last rounds for various BTech course specialisations.
