WBJEE 2021 seat allotment results for Round 2 has been announced on the official website. Read to know the WBJEE seat allotment dates, process and more details.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the WBJEE 2021 seat allotment result for Round 2 on the official website. Selected candidates can now pay the seat acceptance fee and verify their documents till September 2, 2021. WBJEE 2021 seat allotment result for Round 1 was announced on August 19. The registration and choice filling process of WBJEE 2021 counselling has ended on August 16. Eligible candidates will be able to participate in three WBJEE seat allotment rounds – first round, upgradation and mop-up. WBJEE 2021 Counselling

During the WBJEE counselling 2021, the candidates had to register for the process and provide the required details. Choice filling of colleges and courses in the order of preference had to be done by the candidates. No new registration was open for the 2nd round (upgradation).

How to check WBJEE 2021 seat allotment result

Candidates will be able to check the WBJEE 2021 seat allotment result by following the given steps:

  • Go to the official website of WBJEE 2021 counselling
  • Click on the seat allotment result link
  • Candidates will have to log in using the required credentials.
  • The WBJEE seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.

What after WBJEE seat allotment 2021?

After checking the WBJEE 2021 seat allotment result, the candidates will have to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs. 5000 online and download their allotment letter. If the candidate fails to complete this process before the final date, then they will not be considered for allotment in any future round. After paying the fee, the candidates will have to report to their allotted institute to verify their documents.

After document verification, the candidate will be able to give his/her upgradation choice.

WBJEE 2021 Seat Allotment – Upgradation Round

If a candidate has been allotted his/her first choice then they were eligible for upgradation. However, they can later participate in the mop-up round. On the other hand, if the candidate has been allotted his/her second or later choices, then they could participate in the upgradation round.

WBJEE 2021 Seat Allotment – Mop-Up Round

WBJEE 2021 Mop-Up Round is optional for all candidates. To participate in the mop-up round, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 200. Revision of previously made choices of colleges and courses can be done during the mop-up round. The following groups of candidates will be eligible for the WBJEE 2021 mop-up round:

  • Those who completed admission in Round 1
  • Those who completed admission in Round 2
  • Those who did not complete admission in Round 2
  • Those whose category has been changed due to document verification in Round 2
  • Those who paid seat acceptance fee but failed to report for document verification
  • Those who did not get any allotment in Round 1 or 2

List of Document Required for Verification

Candidates will have to carry the following original documents along with one self-attested copy of each during the verification process:

  • 10th standard admit card/birth certificate for verification of date of birth.
  • 10th standard mark sheet
  • 12th standard mark sheet
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)
  • Category certificate (if applicable)

WBJEE cutoff will vary for the different colleges, courses and categories. Reserved category students are expected to have a lower cutoff than General students. Likewise, popular colleges and courses will have higher cutoffs due to the number of students applying for admission.

No, the students who meet the WBJEE cutoff will not be guaranteed admission. However, they will have higher chances of admission into their preferences. Since other factors will also be considered for allotment, the cutoff cannot be used as a guarantee for admission.
