Are there chances that SRMJEEE 2021 may be postponed? Read on to know why.
SRMJEEE 2021: The frightening cases of COVID-19 in India has forced CBSE to cancel Class 10 and postpone Class 12 board exams. In line with it, there are chances that SRMJEE 2021 may also get postponed along with other engineering entrance tests.
SRMJEEE 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from June 11 to 16. However, the chances of postponing or cancelling the entrance exam are high due to the postponement of CBSE 12 and NEET PG 2021. There are chances that the Class 12 board exams of CBSE may happen in June leading to the delay in SRMJEEE 2021. The engineering entrance exam will most probably be conducted after the conclusion of the board exams. However, SRM Institute of Science & Technology has not yet officially confirmed the change in exam dates and the students are advised to wait for the official confirmation.

SRMJEEE 2021 application form is available now and can be filled till May 31. It is expected that the last date to register for the exam may extend further or the registration window will be made available again before the exam if the entrance exam gets postponed. SRMIST will assess the situation in June and decide whether to conduct the entrance exam or not. If the exam gets cancelled, the admission to the BTech course will be based on the candidate’s performance in JEE Main.
Last year, SRMIST cancelled the entrance exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While some universities conducted the online-proctored test, SRM’s admission process was merit-based.
