
SNUET Exam Pattern 2026: The exam body, Sister Nivedita University, releases the details of the SNUET 2026 exam pattern. Candidates preparing for the exam can check below the details about the paper pattern. The SNUET paper will have seven different modules/sections, namely Basic English, Basic Mathematics, General Knowledge/awareness, Social Science, Logical reasoning, Physical science and Life Science. Aspirants will be required to answer any 5 modules as per the course for which they are applying. If candidates attempt more than 5 modules, then their score in the best five modules will be considered for the ranking. For some courses, some modules will be compulsory.

Please note that if a candidate does not attempt the compulsory module/s or if he/she attempts more than five modules and the compulsory module/s is not in the best five modules by score, he/she will not be considered for admission in the respective programme.
There are no such compulsory modules to be attempted for other courses.
All questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) type, with four options against each of the questions. Each module will have 10 questions of 2 marks each. A candidate needs to attempt any five modules. The total marks for the examination will be 100 and students will get 90 minutes to attempt the exam.
SNUET 2026 Marking Scheme
Students can check the SNUET marking scheme -
- The question paper will be in multiple-choice format
- Each correct answer will yield 2 marks
- There will be negative marking of -1/2(25% negative) marks
- If students mark more than one option, it will be considered a wrong attempt
- No response will yield zero marks.
