Qualifying CAT Cut off V/s Final CAT Cut off

Students aspiring to make it for the IIMs need to know the significance and difference of both CAT cut offs and Final CAT cut offs for they play a decisive role in the admission process.

In order to qualify for the WAT/GD-PI round of selection process, the students have to attain the minimum score in CAT which is called the qualifying cut off.  The final CAT cut off, is the minimum percentile fixed by IIMs for the selection of candidates for WAT/GD-PI. The final cut off is always higher than the qualifying cut off.
