MAH CET 2020 Analysis

MAH CET 2020 exam was conducted successfully on March 14 and 15. The question paper of all the four slots were of moderate difficulty level with moderately difficult Logical Reasoning section, moderate Abstract Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitute sections and easy Verbal Ability section. MAH CET 2020 Analysis

The question papers of all the slots of MAH CET 2020 exam were of moderate difficulty. There were some questions which were different in pattern from questions asked in previous years. Section-Wise MAH CET Analysis 2020 

Logical Reasoning:

On the first day of MAH CET 2020, the Logical Reasoning section had 58 questions were on non-verbal reasoning and 17 were based on verbal reasoning.  Most of the questions were based on arrangement. There were 7 sets comprising 41 questions. These were based on circular arrangement, linear arrangement, vertical arrangement, rows, scheduling, matrix, logical comparison, coding, direction and data sufficiency.

The verbal reasoning part of this section had questions from critical reasoning and syllogism. Overall, this section was of moderate difficulty, but for some questions on arrangement which were on the difficult side.

An attempt of 42-45 questions would be considered good.

Abstract Reasoning:

As always, the Abstract Reasoning section of MAH CET 2020, day 1 question paper was easiest of all the sections. There were 11 questions on Series Completion, 7 questions on Analogy and 7 questions on Similar Pair.

An attempt of 18-20 questions out of 25 would be considered good.

Quantitative Aptitude:

This section, on day 1 of MAH CET 2020 had 50 questions, divided into Mathematics (32) and Data Interpretation (18). In Mathematics, the questions were asked from approximations, quantitative comparison, arithmetic and quadratic equation. The Data Interpretation questions were based on average, percentage, profit & loss, simple interest & compound interest, ratio proportion, time, speed & distance, mixtures and numbers.

An attempt of 36-38 questions would be considered good.

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension:

This section was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level with 35 Verbal Ability questions and 15 Reading Comprehension questions. The Verbal Ability questions were a mix of grammar and vocabulary. This section had a few new type of questions. Vocabulary questions were indirect and many were combination-choice type questions.

The Reading Comprehension section had two passages with 7-8 questions, which were easy and manageable.

An attempt of 37-28 questions would be considered good.

No, you cannot show MAH CET city intimation slip at the test centre for entry. Candidates will be allowed to appear for the test only if they present the hard copy of the admit card and photo ID.

In the MAH CET city intimation slip only the name of test city is mentioned along with candidate's name, DOB, application number and exam. No other detail is mentioned on it.

The purpose of MAH CET city intimation slip is to inform the candidates the city in which they have been allotted test centre. City intimation slip is released in advance to allow candidates to make arrangement for travel and stay on the exam day.

MAH BBA CET score is the total marks awarded to the candidate out of 100. It is calculated based on every correct attempt. MAH BBA CET percentile is calculated from rank as compared to rest candidates.

After MAH CET result announcement, the CET CELL conducts Centralized Admission Process or CAP. In this process qualifying candidates are allotted MBA/MMS college basis their preference and score.

MAH MBA CET 2026 score will be valid for one year only, i. e. it can be used for admission to the 2026 academic session only. If a candidate plans to drop admission this year, they will have to appear for the exam again next year.

MAH MBA CET is an annual exam. So far candidates were able to appear for it only once. However, from 2026, the examination body is offering 2 attempts to candidates in the same academic session to improve score.

MAH MBA CET 2026 exam is being held in 2 phases. One phase was held on April 6, 7, 8 and second phase will be held on May 9. Since this year, candidates have got two attempts, the result is expected to be released after May 9 attempt.

Yes, MAT score valid for MAH CET counselling for MBA/MMS. Candidates can apply for admission to Maharashtra MBA colleges by registering for the CAP round under non-MAH CET category. MAH CET CAP is conducted in July-August, every year.
