MAH MBA CET 2026 is a 2.5-hour exam in which candidates have to address 200 questions. There is no sectional time limit in the exam. Sometimes, the questions are also not clubbed section wise. This can make candidates nervous. In the exam, there is no time to panic. If you do, you will lose time and confidence both. If you want to perform well in MAH CET 2026, you should be in complete control of time. MBA CET questions are of varied kinds – easy, tough, tricky, and lengthy. This is a tentative plan, you can divide time on the basis of your strong and weak areas. You should keep 10 minutes in hand for revision and rough work.

- Practice section wise and full length MAH CET mock tests, to improve speed in calculation and solving questions both.
- Don’t aim to attempt all questions. It is not mandatory to solve all 200 questions in MAH CET. So, choose your questions wisely.
- Aim to target about 170-175 questions. That much number of correct attempts will get you in a very good position. There is no negative marking in MBA CET so you need not worry.
- Even if you get about 130 + questions correct in MBA CET, you stand a chance to score 99+ percentile.
- Focus largely on Logical Reasoning as it has the maximum weightage. Out of 75 questions, aim to solve about 45-50.
- In Abstract Reasoning section, out of 25 questions aim to attempt 18-20 questions.
- IQuantitative Aptitude has 50 questions, make sure to attempt about 30-40 of them. Learn shortcuts of Mathematical calculation to save time.
- In VARC seciton of 50 questions, you should attempt atleast 30-35. This section will have more Grammar based questions than RC based ones. Attempt those first.
- There will be an on-screen timer. Keep a check on it. Don’t overspend time on a section as allotted.
- In MAH MBA CET 2026, candidates will be allowed toggle between questions, so quickly go through all the questions of the set and attempt the easier ones first.
- But to be able to do this in the exam, you should follow these abovementioned tips while attempting MAH CET mock tests too. Having enough practice of a process is crucial.

There is no minimum marks required to appear in MAH CET counselling. Candidate with more than 0 in MAH CET or other entrance exams can register for CAP. However, selection will be based on minimum cut offs for the participating colleges.
