MAH MBA CET is a moderately difficult exam. It’s difficulty level is lower than CAT but higher than MAT or ATMA. A major factor that makes MAH CET a difficult test to crack is that the questions are presented in random order and sectional weightage vary in every slot. So, candidates cannot anticipate or plan how many and which type of questions to get to their target score.
Also, the MAH MBA CET is dominated by Logical Reasoning questions and there are comparatively less Quantitative Aptitude questions. Since, there is no set pattern, candidates cannot pre-plan. They need to make a strategy and implement it as soon as they see the question paper. So, those who can think on their feet and can crack the exam better than others.
There is no minimum passing marks in MAH MBA CET. Any candidate scoring above 0 in the entrance exam is eligible for MBA CAP. If they have a score below that, candidates should not expect to get any college.

- Aspirants having a strong base in Mathematics or those who have appeared for any other MBA entrance exam, need not prepare for this section from the scratch. The topics included in Quantitative Aptitude syllabus are advance level Maths of class 9 and 10 so basic revision and practice is needed.
- First timers must spend quality time on each topic to understand the concepts thoroughly. The best source for this is NCERT Mathematics books of Class 9 and 10. Once the fundamental concepts of Algebra, Geometry and Mensuration are clear, they can move to MAH CET preparation books for Quantitative Aptitude.
- Only theoretical or conceptual understanding of the topics is not enough to score high in this section. One needs to master application of the formulae as well. After completing every chapter of Quantitative Aptitude, solve a few questions (easy, moderate and tough) to know how well you have understood it.
- Focus on speed and accuracy while preparing for Quantitative Aptitude as the time will be limited in MBA CET 2026 exam.

The cutoff for MET Institute of Management has not been released for 2026. However, the students can check previous year cutoff data on website. MET Institute of Management accepts MAH CET exam for admissions into the MMS course.
