Never give up or let yourself down after failing in the first attempt. Neha Deore shares some important tips to overcome your CAT failure and gear-up again.
Who loves failure? No one right, but now what? We failed in CAT exam! When we fail in any exam, somewhere we want to maintain an attitude like chill, leave it or we will try for some other exam. No, a big NO, never have such an attitude. You should get hurt, you should feel it, you should feel that I did a big mistake and I want to overcome it. Never listen to others who always poke you in your failure

"How did you fail?"
"It was your wrong decision to give this exam!"
Ignore such demotivating questions and people too. One common thing that we all do is we never accept failure. We always give excuses; never do that!
Step 1: Face it completely, investigate where you went wrong, find it and correct it if you want to succeed.
Step 2: Accept the reality, face it and accept it. You will surely succeed not only in CAT exam but also in your life!
Step 3: Learn from your mistakes. Most important if you fail then look at what all things you learn what is left, learn that! Pass or fail doesn't matter, what matters is if you fail became zero then you should have that ability to grow again, learn again.
Step 4: Grow from it. Prepare for the next CAT exams and get success!
Switch to Plan B, if you score average or below average then what to do.
Plan B
Now Plan B friends, if you know what your result is going to be, for example, if you think that you will be getting average or below average marks chill, no worries but if you think you can score good marks and you want to give yourself a next chance then surely give it. Eg: If you are planning to do MBA in Marketing then do a digital marketing course, which will help you in the future. OR If you are planning to do MBA in finance then do a financial modeling course.

It is not possible to determine a candidate's admission in IIM Calcutta MBA course through CAT score alone. In Stage 1, a score 85% in CAT will be enough for a general category candidate to be selected for PI+WAT admission stage.
Final admission cutoffs are based on many factors other than CAT score.
