To be very frank, you’re going to commit an error. The harsh reality strikes once we get ourselves stuck into the facts, only 5–10% dropouts can make it through.
You now must be knowing the reason for drop failure. Life is simple but not easy. You may start getting depressed after a few months and make things even worse.
The decision has got to be always yours, rest all are advised which get lost within the depth of the ocean. Do not drop, instead join a private B-school and pursue your favourite course. Give your best shot here. Work, enjoy and sleep. The curriculum is more than 40 years old. You’re simply asked to stay to a prescribed curriculum and follow it religiously, cram everything (including coding) just before the exam and top the exam like CAT/MAT/XAT with flying colours. Even in IITs/IIMs, notes are distributed a few weeks before the exam and students cram those notes and pass the exams.
Explore colleges based on CAT
The only advantage of stepping into a private college is that the syllabus here is too easy. A little bit of self-effort just before the exam and you’ll top the exam with flying colours. Just like not every IITian/IIM student bags a 10 Million+ package, the same way not every local B-school college student remains at rock bottom. In India, the definition of engineering is IIT, AIIMS for medical and IIMs for Management. So join a private college, don’t hear what the world is going to say or think about you.
However, if you have got the potential and courage to give another shot, then do it. Just in case you fail again the following year, you won’t be having this question again in your mind ’What if I had dropped another year?’. Life is the too-short to look back and is too long if you begin cursing it. Never lose hope. Opportunities come to several but destiny involves few because you’re the bridge between the two and if you lose hope, you’re going to break the bridge’s only rope.
Always remember there’s no wrong or right decision. You make a choice and make it right.

Yes, CAT exam is MCQ type, meaning there are no subjective type questions wherein you have to write a lot. In CAT every question is to be answered in one word or option. However, all questions don't have MCQ options, some are Type In The Answer (TITA) questions.

Yes, students can prepare for the KMAT exam along with the CAT exam. However, CAT is comparatively a difficult MBA exam. The difficulty level of KMAT is easy to moderate, but CAT retains high difficulty levels. Students can use CAT books for KMAT preparation
