Each one of us in this world is in search of something exceptionally good. In this world of the competitive environment, it is important to be realistic and understand the actual scenario of how things work.
Be it any competitive exam or any selection process, it is an open truth that only a few can crack the selection rounds and get admissions into the top colleges.
But the question that we need to really introspect within ourselves is not that why we performed bad, but which is the college for my score. This is because most of us investigate the side where we think we performed badly. But the real fact is that you were just not on the best listed but still you might have a good score. Below are two questions that students must quickly find answers to if they do not get their targeted college.

- What to do next?
Most of the students who fail to get their desired colleges to become clueless about “what to do next”. In this situation, one has to accept reality and make quick decisions about whether to repeat another year or join the next best college. It would be helpful if a student could make a list of colleges in which he/she wants to study, during the preparation process itself.
However, if you haven’t created one, it is better to start now and search the right colleges for your score which satisfies your requirements. One thing we need to focus on in this situation is to not compare with your peers or think about the failure. Just keep in mind that the next move is the best move.
- Will I be able to get the same outcome of the desired college from the new college I choose?
This question arises in every student who could not get through the admission process of their desired MBA college. One important aspect that we need to focus here is to not objectify this question but rather breakdown the question by understanding each feature you looked in the desired college and how is this college different from that. This can build a lot of confidence and understand the unique feature of this institute. However, an optimist can survive in any college and make the most out of the college exposure and can be a better student than a pessimist in premium colleges.

Yes, CAT exam is MCQ type, meaning there are no subjective type questions wherein you have to write a lot. In CAT every question is to be answered in one word or option. However, all questions don't have MCQ options, some are Type In The Answer (TITA) questions.

Yes, students can prepare for the KMAT exam along with the CAT exam. However, CAT is comparatively a difficult MBA exam. The difficulty level of KMAT is easy to moderate, but CAT retains high difficulty levels. Students can use CAT books for KMAT preparation
