Admission through MBA CET score is a long process which includes category wise counselling for seat allotment. The Maharashtra CET State Cell conducts the entrance exam for MBA/MMS courses. Over 300 colleges and institutes participate in the counselling process which is called Centralised Admission Process or CAP. Candidates who clear the MAH MBA CET exam are eligible to participate in the CAP.

Shortlist colleges for MAH CET CAP 2026
By looking at the past year cut offs and their own MAH CET MBA score, candidates will have to shortlist the colleges that they are within their reach and apply to the same through the CAP registration form 2026. The seat will be alloted basis the MAH CET score and categories. Candidates can select upto 300 colleges in the CAP form as part of choice filling. Seat allotment will be done round wise and once a candidates accepts the seat, he/she will not be eligible for the next round.

MAH CET score is valid for admission for one year only. Those who have appeared for MAH CET 2024, can seek admission to participating colleges this year only (2024-25 batch) Candidates who will appear in MAH MBA CET 2025, their scores will be valid for admission to 2025-2026 batch of MBA programmes only. Those who wish to take a break of one year will have to appear for the exam again.

Yes, MAH MBA CET counselling is cut off-based which is held after the result announcement. MAH CET counselling is conducted round-wise. In this process, candidates have to register online, participate in online counselling and confirm admission by submission of documents and final admission by making fee payment. After that, the admission cell, prepares cut offs and seat allotment lists category wise for MBA/MS admission. Candidates from outside Maharashtra state are also eligible for MAH CET CAP under the All India Seats category. The registration, exam and counselling processes for All India Seats category students are same as that of Maharashtra State category candidates.
The MAH MBA CET answer key carries correct answers and candidate's response to all questions. Candidates can calculate probable score by adding one mark to every correct answer given by you and adding zero for every incorrect option selected by you. The sum total will be your probable score.

Maharashtra State CET will allot seats to candidates on the basis of their MAH MBA CET 2026 score and category. The seat allotment will be done in four rounds.
