The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted on September 13. The examination was conducted in an offline mode. The National Testing Agency (NTA) claims that nearly 90 per cent of those who had applied for the examination were present at the exam centres on September 13. To get a closer picture of this examination, the correspondents of Shiksha.com visited three different exam centres in different parts of the country.

Difficulty level of NEET 2020 question paper
Most of the students have rated NEET 2020 as moderate to difficult. They also expressed that were expecting the examination to be easy, given the current circumstances. However, only a small fraction of students found the examination easy.
Which section was the most difficult?
According to most students, Physics section was the toughest. Chemistry section was moderate and Biology was easy.
Which topic had the most number of questions?
According to the NEET exam analysis by students, the most number of questions in Biology section were from Ecology and Human Physiology. The Physics section was dominated by the questions from Class 12 syllabus. This section also had the most number of numerical questions. Chemistry had a lot of theory-based questions.
Time management during NEET 2020 exam
Most candidates said that they could easily complete the question paper within time. They felt that the time was sufficient. But, they also pointed out that the Physics section was lengthy and consumed most of their time.
COVID-19 arrangements at exam centres
The entire controversy around the NEET exam this year was regarding the precautions that NTA would take on the exam day. After the examination was over, most students agreed that NTA had taken enough precautions inside the test centre. However, they emphasised that social distancing was seldom followed outside the exam centre.

The official NEET answer key will be released by NTA in the third week of September 2020. NEET result is expected to be announced by the last week of September 2020.
