NEET 2023 result has been declared on June 13 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Along with the scorecards, NTA has also released the NEET 2023 statistics and list of toppers who have aced this highly competitive exam. According to NTA, out of the 20.87 lakh applicants, 20.38 lakh candidates had appeared, out of which 11.46 lakh candidates qualified for the exam. NEET 2023 Result: Number of Registered, Appeared and Qualified Candidates
NTA has shared the data of the category-wise number of candidates who registered, appeared and qualified for NEET 2023. We have segregated the data into various category types, including gender, category and nationality.
The NEET result is declared on the official websites of NTA and NEET. The URLs where the result or the scorecard of NEET 2025 are available for download are as follows:

NTA released the re-revised scorecard on July 26, 2024. In this scorecard, the score has been revised as per the Supreme Court verdict of removing the bonus marks awarded earlier for the controversial Physics question, and deducting one mark from those who marked incorrect answer options. The city and centre-wise result data such as number of candidates appeared and scores obtained, by masking candidates' personal data was released on July 21, as per the Supreme Court order given on the hearing dated July 18, 2024. The NEET 2024 result for the re-exam, which was conducted on June 23, was declared on July 1, day day after the slated date. The final answer keys for the NEET 2024 re-exam was released by June 30, ahead of the result declaration. Earlier, the result of NEET 2024 was declared by NTA on June 4, 2024, 10 days ahead of the original schedule, which was June 14, 2024. NTA released the final NEET answer keys on June 4, prior to the release of the NEET result 2024. The NEET result was declared in an online mode. Candidates have to log in with their registration credentials or application number and date of birth, and download their scorecard in PDF format. NTA also released the merit list containing the name, Roll Number, All India Rank and Percentile of the candidates. Along with the NEET 2024 scorecard, NTA also released the NEET 2024 cutoff marks or the qualifying marks/scores.

NEET 2023 State-wise Number of Candidates
The table below brings the state-wise number of candidates under each parameter. Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan are the top three states with the highest number of qualifying NEET 2023 candidates.
NEET score card is valid for admission to the current academic session only. NEET 2025 result cannot be carried forward for admission to the 2026-27 academic session. Hence, in case a candidate fails to qualify for NEET 2025 or unable to take admission in that academic year, then they have to appear for NEET next year and seek admission. Beyond a year, the NEET scorecard will just be another document or a record to prove the appearance in NEET.

NEET 2023 exam was conducted twice, on May 7, and on June 6 for Manipur candidates since it was rescheduled in the state due to the law and order situation. NTA released the provisional NEET 2023 answer key for May 7 and June 6 on June 4 and June 11 respectively. Candidates could submit challenges by June 6 and June 12 for the first and second-phase students respectively.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is soon expected to release the NEET 2023 counselling schedule for admission to 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats and the State Authorities will conduct the NEET counselling for the 85 per cent State Quota seats. There will be most likely four rounds of counselling and the number may increase or decrease based on the seat vacancy.
NEET 2023 is the gateway to admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS, BVSc & AH and other courses. There are 1,06,333 MBBS, 27,868 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc and AH seats offered through NEET scores.
