The NTA released the final NEET 2025 answer key on June 14, 2025. The final answer key was published along with the results. The final answer key was released for every set of the NEET question paper. Candidates who took the exam can download the official answer key by visiting the website. Moreover, the direct NEET answer key 2025 PDF download link is shared below. The provisional answer key was released on June 3, 2025 along with the scanned OMR answer sheets. Candidates could submit objections against the NEET provisional answer key till June 5, 2025. To download NEET OMR sheet 2025 PDF, candidates needed to log in on the official website using their application credentials.
The NEET exam was held on May 4, 2025 in pen and paper mode. A total of 22,09,318 candidates appeared for the exam in 566 cities across India and abroad.

Candidates need to use the process shared below to download the official NEET answer key-
- Visit the official website- neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the tab indicating ‘Download OMR Sheet and Provisional Answer Keys’ under the Candidate Activity section
- Login using the NEET application ID and password
- View the answer key, download and save it

While NTA releases the NEET answer keys PDF, it does not release the detailed solutions or the answer-solving procedures and explanations. On the other hand, experts from coaching institutes release detailed NEET answer key solutions and candidates may refer to those to note the correct and effective way of solving a question. Hence, to understand if the answer solving methodology, test takers will not have any official source of reference, but would have to rely on the unofficial sources only.
NTA sets up a special committee consisting of academic experts that review the objections and take decisions about the challenged NEET official answer keys. The objections have to be raised within the stipulated date and the expert committee with assess the validity of the objections and then take a call on it. - Compare each response to the subsequent answer key
- For each correct answer, add four marks
- For each incorrect answer, deduct one mark
- Candidates can also calculate the mark using the formula

How to Challenge NEET Answer Key?
Candidates could challenge the NEET exam answer key using the process shared below-
- Visit NTA official website and click on ‘Challenge Answer Keys’ tab
- Log in by entering the application ID and password
- Click on ‘Key Challenge’ and select ‘Test Booklet Code’
- Select all those questions that you want to challenge
- Select the correct answer according to you and provide the necessary justification
- Click on ‘Submit’
- Pay the requisite fee of INR 200 through debit/credit card or net banking modes
- Download and save the page.
