Commonly asked questions
Q:   How important is taking mock test to prepare for NEET?
A:

Mock tests are an important aspect of NEET preparation. Preparation will be incomplete without taking NEET mock tests. NEET 2026 mock test will give students exposure towards the exam structure. It will also help them understand their preparation level and mistakes to avoid. Students must get the performance analysed thoroughly by an expert or mentor. The analysis will provide insights about the areas of improvement, causes of mistakes, correct approach to attempt questions, time management, etc. The objective of the analysis is to provide an in-depth viewpoint on their performance.

Q:   How do I prepare for NEET in 5 months?
A:
1. Go through your entire 11th and 12th-grade syllabus multiple times. 2. Establish a good schedule and attitude. 3. You are prepared to work hard for the next coming months. 4. Allowing 4 -5 hours of sitting every day and increasing it to 10 -12 hrs on day. 5. Study in accordance with the scoring system. Concentrating on the positives. 6. Cover your weak topics first as at the end times you will not be able to give time to those topics. 7. Focusing on the topics you have strong hold at the end months. 8. NCERT should be your holy book, revise it multiple times, especially Biology.
Q:   Which was the easiest section of the NEET 2023?
A:
As per the NEET 2023 analysis, Physics and Biology were the easiest sections. Physics which is generally rendered as a tough subject, appeared as a surprise with easier questions. Biology on the other hand, is generally easy in nature, despite having the highest weightage in the NEET question paper. The topics of high weightage in the Physics section were Current Electricity Electro Magnetic Field, Modern Physics Rigid Body Dynamics, Modern Physics etc. In Biology the top chapters or units were Genetics, Human and Plant Reproduction, Cell Biology Sexual Reproduction in Flowering Plants, Application Biology and Human Physiology among others.
Q:   I take too much time in covering topics and it takes my whole day to complete revision. How do I proceed to prepare for NEET?
A:
Make a study schedule for NEET giving Biology Physics and Chemistry equal weight. Consistency is key; it is preferable to study for the same number of hours on both days rather than studying all night one day and resting the next. Take into account your optimal study times. Plan your schedule taking into account your strengths and how your energy changes throughout the day. Make a list of the topics you want to cover this week and work towards achieving your daily or weekly goals. If you are unable to stick to your schedule, identify the problem, make a strategy to address it, and try again. If any subject or topic requires more time than provided, or if a test is scheduled for the next day, your schedule should allow for flexibility. Be dependable. The most crucial ability you need to pass NEET is daily study. Get your work done on time. You shouldn't put anything off. Avoid using social media and other distractions as much as possible.

NEET 2026 Exam Analysis by Sri Chaitanya

The NEET 2026 paper was rated Overall Moderate in difficulty. Physics and Chemistry were both moderate, requiring conceptual clarity and calculation accuracy. Zoology was straightforward and scoring, while Botany, though easy, was notably lengthy - students who managed their time well would have had a clear edge. Key takeaway: This was a paper that rewarded consistent preparation and time management over last-minute cramming. Students with strong NCERT command and regular practice were well-positioned to perform.

Commonly asked questions
Q:   It is possible to crack NEET exam without coaching?
A:

I will not say, it is impossible. It is possible, but you have work very hard and must give your 200% effort to crack these competitive exams. In my opinion, it is better to take coaching for NEET exam. Coaching makes your exam preparation easier. Sometimes, if you get lots of doubt then you can get it cleared by your tutor who has got subject knowledge.

Students get individual attention at coaching institutes and they focus on learning and development of students as per their requirement. Coaching centers also teach you a lot of tips, tricks and time management that help you to crack NEET exam. But, you have to be careful in choosing a right and resourceful coaching center, as there are many fraud coaching centers that works for money and not for delivering knowledge to students.

Q:   How should I prepare for the NEET?
A:
First of all, do not take NEET preparation lightly as it is the most competitive national-level entrance exam. So be prepared for the efforts. Second, your interest has to be there in all three subjects. Every subject holds marks so it is significant for your rank. Now coming to the priority tips for the NEET preparation- NEET Biology- What anyone would say, first go for NCERT only, so would I. Just go for thorough study materials, every diagram, line, table, summary, and everything. 5-10 readings I would say and everything will be on tips. After that refer to coaching modules correctly and practice them. Practice questions from MTG Biology at your fingertips. NEET Chemistry NCERT is the key for Inorganic and organic especially. Revise inorganic on a daily basis, it is a scoring subject. Write down exceptions and reactions in a separate notebook. Do practice questions for organic and physical. Physics- Do refer to your coaching notes for theory and assigned modules for practice. Join the Mock test series in the last month. Solve NEET and JEE Main (for Physics and Chemistry), previous year test papers for better practice and try to go for the easiest approach for the questions. Be confident as you have recently appeared for boards so most of the concepts are fresh in mind.
Q:   I am a PCB class 11th and preparing for NEET. Is Maths compulsory to qualify for NEET?
A:

Maths is not compulsory for NEET. You have numerical in Physics but you do not required Maths in Class 11 and Class 12 to solve those. If you studied Maths in class 10, then you can solve the numericals in Physics. Since NEET has Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects, it would be advantageous for you if you are a PCB student. Moreover, in case a candidate has studied PCM and not Biology, even as an additional subject, then he/she will not be eligible to appear for NEET exam. Hence, Maths is not compulsory, rather not required for NEET. But having basic mathematical knowledge and skills would be an added advantage.

Q:   I am doing BSc and I want to crack NEET. How do I prepare for NEET?
A:

How do I prepare for the NEET during a BSc Preparation of NEET UG with your on going BSc Degree. There are two things involved and I'm going to give the answer in two fragments. SEE if you are going to do your BSc From a government college where you have to study and pass your sem/annual exam with practicals then it will be lil tough for you, then remember one thing don't make a mistake of studying in last month to take exam of your college bc it will only waste your time of one month which might be very crucial from perspective of NEET and it will be a hazard if sem/annual exam falls near your NEET exam. So study for college solely by attending lecture of your teachers in college and make their notes and you can bunk your college to prepare for NEET don't waste your time in making frnds in college and make a habit of studying for college BSc In only study hours of your college and rest of the time for NEET and make sure you dedicate your focused I repeat focused 5-6 hour of time for NEET and increase it gradually. And for college exams don't take stress you have your notes just revise them before one week and you are good to go If you are doing your B.Sc. From private college then boom don't take any tension just talk to administration and you won't have to attend the college ( if they ask pay them if it's a small college they will accept the offer for 5-6k ) you don't have to attend the lecture and practicals too just go and take the exam and may be they will arrange something for you in exams too like cheating and all you will pass it without any tension. Although you can buy notes of subjects from market notes are available in market and study them before 2 weeks of your exam and you can study for your NEET exam. It would be tough to manage both of them but over-all it is rewarding so do it and ha! Don't take any pressure everything comes from practice and studying is a practice dude! Make a habit of doing meditation you will SEE the benefits within 30 days start with 5 minutes and gradually increase upto 15 minutes for first 30 days it will surely help in your studies. Don't fall for the trap that I can revise something in that 15 minutes or can chill by listening songs or watching videos nope don't do that mediation can ease your journey of preparation.

Q&A Icon
Commonly asked questions
Q:   How should I prepare for inorganic chemistry for the NEET?
A:
There are some tricks to preparing for Chemistry. It is a scoring subject and Inorganic is the easiest of all among IOC, OC and physical. Talking about the upcoming NEET you have to face approximately 15 to 18 questions there. Having prepared from NCERT is sufficient. Go thoroughly by judging the whole concept and line. For Inorganic Chemistry, NCERT is sufficient or frankly to say more than enough. For revision try to solve NEET previous years' question papers, especially the last 10 years. Highlighting the words I have to state that especially focus on box or tabulated data of NCERT which will be asked fully as it is. Especially for Hydrogen.
Q:   Which is the best reference book for biology for preparing NEET ?
A:
To prepare for the Biology section of NEET the best books or study materials are NCERT textbooks. According to experts and toppers, NCERT is the best source of preparation. Based on the contents of the book, NCERT would be sufficient for NEET Biology preparation. However, students may refer to additional books and study materials. Some of the books are as follows: 1. Trueman's Biology Vol 1 and 2. Objective Biology by Dinesh 3. Objective Biology by Ansari 4. Pradeep Publication's Biology 5. Biology by GR Bathla Publications 6. SC Verma Biology.
Q:   Can I get medical seat if I have prepared for only 4 months for entrance?
A:
Nothing can be predicted before you actually appear for the exam. All that matters in the end are the efforts that you have put into your preparing and the type of strategy you follow. Go on to explore the options of preparing - offline/online. Coming to your motive of asking the question, yes you can if you have a clear goal and a well defined strategy for that. Time period is enough to prepare for any exam given you have the basics clear or you can work on them as well in the said interval. You will be competing with a number of students like you, what will differentiate you from the herd is your approach.
Q:   Can I prepare for NEET in just one month?
A:
Start repeated revisions of the chapters. Revision is the key. Solve questions and mock tests. If you refer to prepare for the NEET from the zero - The answer would be no. It's a competitive exam, has vast syllabus and could not completed in a month if starting from the zero.
